What's going on is that they're on their way back up the list with the final "take it or resign" offers. Letters have gone out to at least 7/99 DOH for the 8/27 recall class. I believe, based on the combined retirement numbers posted by someone a while back and unverified by me, that it would be about 8 years from recall/newhire to upgrade based on age 60. Of course, 65 is just around the corner, so add 3-5 years to that to get a guesstimate for a Group 2 upgrade... -

Eagle gear up go around in SYR today
Allegedly the 3 green was received almost immediately upon handle repositioning. If true, then the nose doors would only have a moment to sequence open, then the extend signal would cease and the nose doors would be stuck open with the gear still up. Makes sense to me. Bad LGEU stops operation... -
