    I started going to the career fairs when I had only 550 PIC or so. To an extent, it was good. I think that the advantage is that you can make some contacts, which never hurt. It also shows the airline that you are gunning for that you're interested. If they continue to see you at job fairs...

    The pilots are supposed to be getting paid tonight at midnight, but the rumor mill says otherwise. The out-station personell and the mechanics have all been furloughed. I suspect that the pilots will be furloughed very soon. But you're right, soon there will not be very many pilots left...

    The Chicken Lips are wonderful...they are boneless chicken strips that are breaded...then dipped in hot sauce. Of course you can also get blue cheese or ranch to dip them in... However, you're explanation of what they could have been was pretty creative...props to you for that!!!
