    Air Wisconsin

There will be 3 Bae146 slots available in the November class. In addition The January class is for sure according to the guy I asked in training on Fri. He mentioned that like previously mentioned everyone knew that the attrition would kick up as soon as all of the commuting started. Just...

    news at Air Wisconsin? CFO?

I am not all of that excited about adding this woman either. She was at eastern before Hawiian. I am afraid this is another one of those execs that travel around destroying people's companies for profit.

    Air Wisconsin

I second that. ZW seems to be spending a lot of time (and rightly so) improving thier lagistical side of the company. We were suffering terrible growing pains over the last year and everything from ground ops to the computer systems crashing needed to be caught up to the fleet we are now...

    Pay Cuts Were Needed? AWAC

The DOT website is now posting first quarter finacial results. Air Wisconsin reported a 20.9 million dollar profit! I believe the line used was somthing to the effect of "If we don't get these cuts we will never be able to grow and the company won't survive." 2, 20+ million profit quarters in...

    U.S. Airways At it again

I love how its always the union's fault that U is failing. If a Company can not make money after being given a $2 billion gift from it's employees and still revises its losses to be greater, my god, could it possibly be an issue other than labor? If I were there I would have to say I am sorry...

    Air Wisconsin class info

The best way is to get a letter from the inside. from what I hear it doesn't even need to be from a pilot. I talked to the new recruiter guy that replaced Kristy. Seems like a good guy. Says they interview a lot of people and only hire a few. but they are diversifying in who they will look...

    Skyway Hiring

Wholly Owned? Is skyway a W/O Subsid od midex? If they are how can it be so that they could possibly get any Delta flying. That has got to be against someones scope language. And for that matter what would be the point of adding more airplanes to a fleet that can no longer be produced or...

    US Airways: dead man walking

Opinion? What do think will happen if U or UAL should fail completely? Will the surviving entity thrive? Will it push the other over the edge? Will it be good for the industry or bad for competition?

    Say it ain't so, ZW

DS Your rumor startled me and be it that I was sitting in the crew room inATW I walked down the hallway to ask the training department about it. They had no idea what I was talking about. The only thing that they could think of was that in the last class two guys with about 800 hours bought...

    UAL Out too soon?

I know the talk about UAL emerging has been heating up with multiple press releases saying financing has been obtained, deals have been struck with suppliers and a new loan application has been submitted. Just curious, to anyone in the know, is UAL emerging to soon? Have they delt with all of...

    air wisky

I know that if we did get those extra 20 planes that the big three wanted to resist signing them with UAL. However, with the Mesa bid pooping out it could produce an offer they cannot refuse in IAD. I just wish they would get in to the 70 seat market. I know that they have been resistent to...

    So.. What would you do??

And even if you are under a trainging contract, not a single one has ever stood up in court. They are just trying to keep there costs down. As long as your a good employee, there is nothing they can really do. I know a few people in the HR side of the biz and really all they ask is 2 or 3...
