Take the cargo job. Yes your buddy will not be able to get your resume in till the end of the month, but the interview will be much later. Remember that the holidays are coming so things will slow down a little. The memo that came out a few days ago said a planned 9 new hire classes for '04 here...

I did it a couple of weeks ago with with AF. No problems. Got my certif. re-newed and thats what I wanted. I really did not want to re-learn just give me the paper work.
Just thinking the other day(I know it is dangerous) at cruise where and what (RJs?) would a new code share be with NWA? Would this be a new operation in either coast since Mesaba and Express1 already cover the middle? Or would this be pushing either or both out of the way? I don't know the...
AWAC, Mesa, SkyWest and TSA would be my guess. No one could just pick it up. Besides UAL is trying to deversify(sp) its routes what a better way to do it. Know for the room and gates, not as big a problem as many may think. It could be done like Mesaba in MSP(don't know if it is still done this...

Like I said things are changing around here a bit so some of these can go up and down each month.
mckpickle,
What are your feelings about flying for a non-union airline? You need to talk to some Comair and ASA dudes about sharing hubs. Its not easy at first but deal with it. If you can't stand us there in IAH and you and your buddy's do things to screw with us and compromise my passengers...
Bluto,
I am so sorry. I did not mean to offend you. Just saying that the 6 COEX pilots that I know first hand 4 of them are from the West and would give up COEX to settle down at SkyWest and make it a career. In fact one of them did not do so well on our sim a year or two ago and would love a...
Has anybody had any first hand experience with pilots that can now carry guns in the cockpit? How was the class? Is it worth going through class with all the hassle? What gun is it p229? What about jump seating and commuting with it?
