Yes......and so do you right?
Difference is I may have exercise that option.
Doubt it, you were at Air Tran for a reason. If you had other options you would've exercised them already. But you're right. Feel free to go somewhere else and be happy!

Sweet!, looks like I'll be bidding BWI!!!!

You're comparing Delta/NWA to Southwest/AAI? You're funny man.
Come on in to BWI Kharma.. It's nice, and the water is warm.. But don't worry about my position there.. I'll be out of BWI shortly.. I'll be commuting to upgrade.. Let me know when you downbid to FO so I'll be ready..
So in the end, the AAI pilots only brought one thing to the table...seniority.
Tell ya what slick.....Go to SWALIFE and read GK's mid-year update from last year...page 6...an entire page titled "why we bought Airtran"
Perhaps when GK explains it to you you'll understand.
I don't know what a RSW pilot is?So, unless Airtran was going to give RSW pilots 20-40 percent raises then what did you have to negotiate with?

I don't know what a RSW pilot is?
Fort Myers pilot?
Real Southwest pilot?
Are you dense?
Re-read my post. What did the AAI pilots bring to the table? Not Airtan the company.
You see the difference? I might be asking to much of you though. Let me know.

So why was I at AAI?
You must know me because you can read my mind. You seem to think every pilot in the US wanted to go to SWA.
Your comments are pathetic and moronic.
No where did I say I was unhappy, those are your words.
I am looking at a furlough, that is why I have to look for other work.
Clear now?
No. You're NOT looking at a furlough.
No one on either side is looking at a furlough. You're just saying that to make your personal situation sound worse for argument purposes. Maybe you're pretty low on the overall totem pole, but we were all there once (or more than once), but you most certainly are not "looking at a furlough."
If you want to look for other work, then knock yourself out. That's typically what people who aren't happy do. But in any case, no one's buying your "poor me" argument. We've all got our own sob story.
Clear now?
Bubba
How would you know?
A lot of us preparing for furlough. It's the smart thing to do. I know you don't understand smart however.
SWA's numbers don't add up pal. They cannot train 1185 of us in 2014 and train all your upgrades.
So tell me, what are they going to do with the surplus pilots?
Like I said before, this is just a job, there are other jobs.
Crystal clear now?

Yup; it's pretty clear that you're the most miserable and pessimistic "happy" guy on the forum. Sorry to interrupt; carry on. Continue bitching and acting like your life sucks so bad (and, for that matter, that other people care about your bitching).
Maybe you could try for a career in creative writing? You know, when your imminent (gasp!) "furlough" happens.
Bubba
Yup it's pretty clear that you are the most arrogant guy on the forum.
You hate facts. Sorry about that chump. You're right, everything is wonderful, nothing to worry about. Bubba knows all.
Maybe you should try a career as a fortune teller, you know everything at least for those that want to read your drivel.
"You're funny. In that vein, what did SW pilots bring to the table? Not SW, the company. See how ridiculous an argument that is? I'm letting you know."
The SWAPA contract and all the requisite benefits therein. Really dude, what part of this is not making sense?
Bingo. Thanks Calypso. I think the one thing AAI had that we didn't was paid parking. Night and Day Freight.....you know it, but just don't want to admit it. You'd rather play the poor, poor pitfall me routine along along with Brit.
Statements like that typically come from the weakest sort of pilot...... Especially when they're made anonymously by a guy with a whopping four years on the property.
Good comeback.
Your schtick is getting old, especially when people call you out on the BS.
You're comparing Delta/NWA to Southwest/AAI? You're funny man.
Hmm... Why is that funny, Mr. SW CA? Read about Fedex/Flying Tigers acquisition/merger/etc. Here is a synopsis for you: A bankrupt roughly 10 a/c airline got bought out by a huge airline called Fedex. Pilots got merged based on seniority (not DOH!).
You're a weird man to find these things amusing. Do inflight emergencies make you laugh too???
Who has four years on property?
When delta was hiring you and Brit stayed at AT cuz it rocked so much. I didn't realize that sorry. I retract my generalization.
