Actually, the CASS system makes the call. Meeting the captain is just a formality. It's true the captain is in command of the aircaraft but the aircraft itself belongs to the company, not the captain. he does not own it.
Can someone give me 2 good, valid reasons wht it is NECASSARY to have the captains permission to J/S?
Besides tradition. The gate agents have all the technology to check out a J/S before they board.
Let me be the first to congratulate you! Wait time in the pool can be anywhere between 0-2 yrs, and I don't really know what the average time is anymore. But yes, you just sit back and wait for a class date. Congrats!
Can someone please give me the dates again of when the new {concessionary}contract was voted on and the date it went into effect? Will the pilots who worked there at the time the concessionary contract went into effect but no longer work there now get back pay?
haircuts {if in FOM that it has to be neat and nice}, gym membership, regular laundry if you wash your shirts at home..blowdryer, curling iron, dual time zone watch computer if you need it to bid or check schedules, union dues, loss of license insurance, sunglasses, headsets..I can keep going on...
Can you please enlighten us on how and why it sucks??? I am serious. I really want to know what your reasons are. Are they valid reasons ??? Are you an easy going person or are you hard to get along with??? Fill me in.
Another great tax guy is Dean Tax. www.deantax.com. He is in Arvada, Co phone 1-800-dean tax. He has a really great worksheet for pilots and flight attendants that lists all the deductions you can take. he is very reasonable, too!
