Did XJET app in July...they finally called me for an interview in late September...and I went through the furlough link. They don't seem very enthusiastic to hire furloughed 121 people. Skywest called me in 2 days, CHQ called me in 1 day, Mesaba called me in 3 days.. Although these... -

Regional furloughs/hiring
I think hiring has been halted on the 145 170 hiring is slowing down as well due to SAAB/MDA integration (no flames pls)... Seems like CHQ, Skywest, XJET is about the best thing avail if peeps want 121 jet PIC within 2-3 years. -

I got furloughed from Indy and ended up at shuttleaqua. I can't brag too much about em'...but at least I'm not sitting in a pool and didn't have to pay $1000 for the interview. What's really sad, is shuttleaqua is the best game in town in terms of QOL, upgrades and pay. Island emailed me twice... -

What they didn't tell you is that your responsible for getting yourself to Hawaii and paying for a hotel. Then, if you get the job, you sit in the pool for 6 months to a year. They just emailed me AGAIN to see if I'm interested in interviewing...so I guess they are getting a lot of no shows.... -

CHQ to get 190's in exchange to let MDA fly 170's
What's even more B.S. is that a 3rd year Avro Captain at XJ makes $63/hr. MDA E170 3rd year CA makes $63/hr as well. CHQ 3rd year CA on the E170 is $62/ hr. And you guys are ripping on "bottom feeders"... Glass houses dudes.... -
