Preboarding Jumpseaters on SWA
Because in the past many of our captains/FA's asked jumpseaters to sit in the exit row. Why do you expect offline jumpseaters to be familiar with our internal company communications? If all of this was common sense we wouldn't have had to come out with our new rules for exit rows last year. -

We have 737-300's that have been doing many more cycles and almost as many hours per day for over 20 years. You're going to have a hard time convincing me that any 6.5 year old aircraft has a lot of time. -

In my VQ squadron we very rarely had more than one AC on a crew. It takes new guys a long time to get the hours to upgrade so I doubt anyone would be stuck as an AC qualified copilot very often. If anything, the CWO's would probably fly more due to the lack of demanding ground jobs and would... -

Without aircraft maintenance experience I don't think you would be eligible for a FE position. You would first have to cross rate, then get some experience in your new rate, then apply to be an FE.
