Not true.
CS was started in 2000. Cessna execs sought Santulli's opinions before starting CS and Santulli "welcomed the competition."
During the early years of CS, NetJets was still ordering Bravos/Encores/XL/Sovereigns. The CJ3/Beechjet debacle was in 2004. NetJets made a $1Billion...
I think this LOA needs to be round filed. Or else we need another LOA for the NJI guys bidding to the "A" side. Something to the effect that.....
All C680/C750 vacancies will be awarded on the basis of seniority. All 680/750 positions will be filled from the C56XL/BAe800 program, and in...
If you were indeed a Gulfstreamer, please don't insult our intelligence with that statement. The airlines might be all warm and fuzzy about it, but it will win you no friends in the corporate world.
It usually happens more when the summer interns are given a computer to play with. I have ridden in the BAe 800 & 1000, Ultra, Excel, and X several times and the 400XP and EASy once each.
PS...If something happens to NJA I plan on getting out of aviation also. No way would I apply to an...
Son, I live in a world that requires me to fly. And those trips have to be flown by men with planes.
Who’s gonna do it? You Capt Regional? You, Capt. Legacy Carrier?
I have a greater Wealth than you can possibly fathom. You weep for bailouts and you curse the Fractionals. You have that luxury...
Rez, you have been pushing this garbage for a long time and it is completely naive.
The fractionals do not need the airlines to survive. Sure we airline. Not because we have to, but because it is easier. Airline pilots have FAR more to fear from loss of service than frac pilots. Most of us...
You might want to look at the Frac growth and churn rates before you push your foot any farther in your mouth. Although it is rather entertaining that you don't know how naive you sound.
PS...I never said we were immune, we just react differently to economic pressures than the airlines. By the...
We don't do much flying, only about 1000 flights/day.;)
If I follow your logic, people who drive fuel efficient cars should pay more for gas than SUVs that carry more. I'm sure the airlines aren't paying anywhere close to the $6/gal we are buying, nor the aforementioned $0.36/gallon tax. Not...
Previously, GA was paying $0.21/gal fuel tax. With the recent increase, GA (Jet A) is now taxed at $0.36/gal.
The airlines are (and have been) paying $0.04/gallon fuel tax.
Wanna tell me who isn't paying their share?
So sad(for you). The passengers did demand it, but your bosses (Airlines) weren't listening. So 20,000 of your premium and first class passengers voted with their wallet and went to private jets.
How cute. More delusional rhetoric of the passengers causing the airlines' problems.
This thread...
Who said anything about recent, and what exactly IS recent? 1 year? 5 years, 20 years? I agree, it has been bad for a long time, but that doesn't make it right. One flight, one price. Would you want to buy a car and then have to pay for a steering wheel, tires, and a gas cap separate?
And...
No basis??? Riiiiiiiight.
CSA treating pax like they are interfering with their jobs.
First class seating decreased to 2-3 rows instead of 6-8.
Meals eliminated from coach
Meals eliminated from FC
Snacks now eliminated from coach

It sounds like you are trying to equate frax life to airline life. Simple answer, it doesn't. But here are your answers.
Max duty day is 14 hours. You may have several per tour or you may fly several tours without a 14 hour day. If we are fatigued we tell them and we automatically get 14 hours...
And you would permit them to use your car for free??? You buy the car and they get the profits....I don't think so.
This is why NeJets does not do outside charter trips. The planes belong to the owners, if NJA was to use "their" plane, they would expect NJA to pay them a percentage of the...
Hmmmm. Where have I heard that before?? (sarcasm)
“As the fastest growing major fractional aircraft company, we are pleased to be ahead of the curve
in meeting this new FAA requirement... said Steve O’Neill, Chief Executive Officer of CitationShares...
There are roughly 12,000 business jets in the US. NetJets currently has approx 800.
If the industry were to go in the tank, fully owned private jets would be on the chopping block. The people selling "their" airplanes aren't going to go back to airlines. They are more likely to sell their...
May we ask how you arrived at that number? There is no possible way to accurately estimate APU fuel used. Each aircraft has different guidelines for APU usage and there is not a separate fuel supply.
