    FO's in supervisory positions

So in other words you can't answer this question. Or you are just being a rick with a "p" and not answering the question. I thought doing the carpet dance meant have to answer to a CP or other management pilot for something that happened on a particular flight. The original post sounded like...

More fallout from SWA crash - pax and rw length

You do not know this simple conversion? Do you really need to be posting questions then?

    Kalitta in MEM?

Some where there is a guy (or girl) that is sick and tired of putting up with her crap.

Southwest Accident May Be Indicative of Carrier-Specific Problem

I suggest you take a look at that investigation to see if the aircraft could even climb that high given the conditions..i.e. ISA. And again SPORT! After a more experienced aviator flamed both engines, I believe that they would have immediately declared an emergency, not have worried about...

    Great Idea, Southwest

Ironic that the last notable accident at MDW happened 33 years to the day. 33 years and two air carrier accidents. Close the dang airport...While your out closing another Chicagoland airport, there is one down in Dallas that had two accidents with a-lot more fatalities in the span of 3 years...

Southwest Accident May Be Indicative of Carrier-Specific Problem

Don't F it up because a dot low will be shown in the report as pilot error.

    Delta MEC Authorizes Strike Vote

The airline industry is way too populated with capacity. We have too many airlines trying to do the same thing, and now Virgin America is filing for permits to operate, Un-F-ing believable!!!! That is all we need right now is another carrier. But that might just give hope to some of the Delta...

Southwest Accident May Be Indicative of Carrier-Specific Problem

Let's close all unsafe airports! Ironic that the last notable accident at MDW happened 33 years to the day. 33 years and two air carrier accidents. Close the damn airport...While your out closing another Chicagoland airport, there is one down in Dallas that had two accidents with a-lot more...

    What? Did I misspell it?

    American at Love: Faking Angina

Companies just like individuals get tax benefits of being charitable. Would you rather write a check to the IRS for $5000, or give a charity of your choosing part of the monies and write a smaller check to Uncle Sam?

You cannot get internet fares on SWA anywhere else but Southwest.com.

    Rumor: Another JBLU Nosewheel problem??

Why would they not go east and burn off the fuel enroute to the base at JFK and get the pax to the destination, or at least closer to it?

Wright Amendment to lose some punch today

Anyone know what that same fare was a couple of months ago, when there was no non-stop competetion?
  15. sf260pilot

Why does every Wright Amendment thread turn inot a pi$$ing contest between AA/SWA?

That quote is from Amon Carter. Have you ever lived in Ft. Worth? I have , and not the mid-cities, Ft. Worth. People over there have a chip on their shoulder about living in the shadow of the Bigger City. Almost like the one Chicago has for NYC. You are right this is about two cities. I...

Why does every Wright Amendment thread turn inot a pi$$ing contest between AA/SWA?

Around Dallas and Ft. Worth this is a very intense and emotional situation. Even retired pilots get very personal about it. That is why it gets ugly.

Love Field operating in the Red. Who's fault is that? Not SWA!

I thought that a non-profit would reinvest any monies back into the airport if there was an overage. Right now they are putting lighted center line lights on taxi way Charlie.

Love Field operating in the Red. Who's fault is that? Not SWA!

This is really not a Dallas v. SWA issue. This is more proof that the city of Dallas is grossly mismanaged.

    Thank you Airtran!

Where do you buy it in Fart Warth? (Sounds Scottish when pronounced this way) I bet Central Market or World Market. Cheers!

    SWA New Work Rules?

You are giving every other ALPA person here a real thrill. Someone at SWA who is upset. This will spread like wildfire and next to fall will be SWA. Then everyone on the thread will be telling WN pilot's "see how the mighty have fallin" Before you slam some "more productive" work rule "tests"...
