    AA Jumpseat Number

Don't know if it is true, but when I jumped seated on AA a couple of weeks ago the ticket agent told me it is now required to meal list prior to coming to the gate. That they are no longer required to list you.

    Wright Amendment Compromise appears dead

No we make a profit at those type of airports to.

    Wright Amendment Compromise appears dead

I'm with you, give Jet Blue the 6 Legend gates and give us 6 at JFK.

SWA contract amendable- no pay raise?

No what I am telling you is that I dont care about parking fees. Maybe that is what you must bargin for because your company has dictated everything else of importance to you. Either by threats of BR or by some judge who thinks he understands our business. I dont wish regression by anyone in...

SWA contract amendable- no pay raise?

So I guess a pay cut is a much better solution. Based on your banner you work for US AIR or one of its regional affiliates, give me a break. I agree, I'll pay for my parking and work for a company that lives up to the contract we signed.

    SWA July DB rumor...

I believe it starts on the 18th and ends on the 19th

    SWA codeshare/regional partner?

What in the world are you talking about? Code share with a regional right before our contract is to be renegotiated, I think not. All SWA flying will be done by SWA pilots. One reason our codeshare gives the money to the airline that flys the passanger instead of sharing the money. Also, I...

    New Delta Jumpseat rules

Why you guys so hard on DL at least they are changing. We (SWA) also do not offer unlimited jumpseat to everyone. We negotiate with each company that also does it, i.e AWA JBLU etc while not doing for AIR TRAN and if memory serves me right NWA. When we reached an agreement with AA it was many...

Southwest Air CFO:On Track To Meet, Beat '06 Earnings Goal

All because someone is disgrunteled at XYZ airline doens't mean they will be a liability at ABC airline, which is true of some current SWA pilots who may have had a less than enjoyable time at a previous airline. I don't think the majority of SWA pilots have an issue with GK one day including...

Frontier just announced 5 daily LAX--SFO and back

F9 guys/gals get ready to hold and hold and hold, main reason we left SFO. The money isn't worth the lost productivity time of the airframe.

    SWA abroad...more than a rumor

I don't know if the ATA is exclusive as GK has said he would continue to look at codesharing with ATA and any other carriers when it makes sense. The international thing is also nothing new since it was part of our agreement witht he partnership that bought our interest in ATA. On the ATA...

Woman wins $27.5M in suit against Southwest

So lets see if the TSA thinks they smell booz on my breath and pull me from the line and I prove negative on their test, then this also must be worth 27.5 mil.

    AA now wants costs cuts

Hey good news, even if the Air Traffic Controllers turn down their present contract, congress can force them to accept a contract that pays the avg. controller 187000 a year.

    SWA/ATA codeshare ending?

Halintexas where do you get your information on our scope. First we have very little if anything about codesharing in our scope. It was talked about after the fact. Additionally, The 5% ASM I don't beleive exists either. The only thing that exists is that SWAPA pilots will fly SWA airplanes...

    Jumpseating and CASS

At SWA you still can ride in the back if your not CASS, but these days are numbered as the TSA is requiring that only CASS individuals be in the front or back. When this is starts, I'm not sure but I think it is towards the first of the year.
