Man, I hate to act stupid here, but I am totally ignorant on that one. If you have a way to email the company rep try that. If you don't then send me as much info as possible on exactly what you are experiencing to [email protected] and I will pass it along to the right folks. Hope that...
I have had really good results in the few times I have jumped on Delta. The only problem with talking to the Captain is that you may get there after he is back on the plane and the gate agents will not go get him to come back up, which is understandable I guess. I just wish that if there was an...
Just to be clear, the blue dart will only get you an interview if you meet the minimums. No one with less than that can get an interview (unless you are one of Barger's friends I guess). And the online rec or any other rec does nothing until you get pulled by the computer for an interview...
You should be able to just go in with your login or password or whatever they have now and update what needs to be updated. It's a little different than when I did it but it's pretty self-explanatory as I recall.
Too much time on your hands and nothing constructive to do with it
I haven't been on here in awhile and I just realized why, too many trolls!! Get a life guys and stop stirring up crap with half truths and full on lies caused by jealousy. Guess I'll go back to my Corvette racing sites, most...
The funny thing is I don't think there is anyone here, except for a very few malcontents that are still hanging on to the idea that they would be flying a 777 at their previous airline 10 years from now, that feel like they are "bending over". Most of us feel that we are "chipping in" and...
That sucks. I left there after only a few months to come to JetBlue in early 2003. Still have friends there including two which I helped get hired in my short time there. Sure hope they come out the other side okay, some good people there.
I really like working at JetBlue, especially after upgrading to Captain in one year and eight months. I know that it was a bit longer than the guys and gals that were hired a year or two before me, but I think that's the way it works in this industry. Do I make current DAL wages, no. But they...
Most flight departments at the big teams are very well staffed with most of the pilots having 121 experience. Many of the pilots like myself do the NASCAR thing part time while holding another job in the industry as well. Hendrick has a few part time folks I believe but mostly full time. And I...
The caption on one of the photos says the airplane normally holds 120 passengers. Is that all first class or are the load factors that bad?? ;)
Just glad everyone is OK.
My first time back on here in awhile and I find the same crazy antics from the same crazy people on here. Sure would be nice if this could just be a place where people could come and get factual information about any airline, XYZ. Unfortunately the only facts seem to continually come from...
airbus331 - I really hate to see things like that happen to folks. I wish you the best of luck at JetBlue. From all I have experienced so far you will love it. Look forward with anticipation of enjoying going to work again.
Its kind of funny that this way of thinking seems to prevail at a lot of places. I read it as "We'll just keep losing money on this route just to screw with these other guys who are making money flying the same route." Now please don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing Delta, never have, hopefully...
Good article. The one thing I found interesting is the remarkably low break-even load factor for SWA. Based on what some folks have said on these forums about airline costs, SWA must not pay their pilots anything if their costs are that low. ;)
