I haven't been on this board for quite awhile, and now I know why. There is no Bull******************** Filter. The best Bull******************** Filter, is using your own real name. That's the biggest failing of this board.
Do you think FLOPS management is not seeing and contributing to...
Think Twice
There are a lot of you young pilots lurking on this board that would love to fly a jet. I remember those days. I used to fly right seat in D18 in the middle of the night delivering Wall Street Journals just to fly. If you have any self worth at all, please do not come to NetJets...
NJA Crewservicer - glad to see you posting over here. I know you can't get on our board but you can sure get a flavor for what's going on on the road over here. Most of us know that the decisions that screw us come from elsewhere and just pass through you folks, but there are some FM's up...
Hey Hump - If this POS contract gets passed by 50% +1 you'll see lots more attrition. The double dippers, those with blue and orange interviews will take the bonus and 'amscray' That's the only thing many guys are waiting around for. The key is 50% +1 . All you guys that get hired now will...
On Your Six - Can't strike until mediator releases both parties to self-help. As long as both parties negotiate in good faith, mediation continues. Mediator has control and by releasing us, he is admitting defeat. Liklihood is slim anytime soon. If released after a couple of T/A get turned...
Flight Options was the only loser among the 4 major players as far as growth and profit. If anybody needed a union, they do. Management is responsible for unions on the property.
One scenario at NetJets is to leave the local 284 and the Airline Division and have our own local within the IBT.
Thread remains the same. You guys that are interviewing for NetJets, just remember. You'll hire on at 27K and STAY at the low FO pay for at least 3 years. BUT, you say there is a new contract coming. Yeah right, it is probably a pretty sure bet it will be turned down. How long do you want...
I know what you mean. I ran into a guy in ROC the other day that said to look in this forum. I thought I checked it out pretty good, but couldn't find it. Isn't it... the eyes are the second thing to go? or something like that.
Yeah, I think they are supposed to be operating MD80's with...
They've got plenty of contracts on the A300 B4 and China is starting to explode now. They've got 2 paid for 747-200's and are hiring now. China 28 on 28 off on the A300 8 on 8 off on the 747. Hiring freight dogs and experience and previous captains can get left seat off the street.
Unfortunately, at the fractionals jumpseating is just about out of the question. There are one or two outfits that you can use but 121 is definitely the way to go if you have to commute. Family is number one, and some of the guys here on the 7/7 sked say even that's too much time away from wife...
A300
A300 sounds like you are at Tradewinds. China is going to explode and it's starting now. Depending on your age, I'd stay there till 60 then go fractional.

I just put in a rec letter to NJ for a buddy of mine at Flexjet. Looks like he'll get an NJA interview. They are leaving like rats over there, shorthanded, do their own sim instructing, and lots of guys bust the initial sim. Good Luck
Gateway
Griz - under the rumored system I don't think they have to live at the RCA but just be there by 0001 on day 1 or 1000 or whatever it will be under 91k. :)
Under the current contract it is 100 miles from your gateway not to exceed 3 hours. This at 0001 on first day of duty.
Current Captain pay for year 1 $37560 Current pay for year 1 BBJ Capt. $135000
