    Champion to Mesaba?

Yeah, and QOL is pretty much non-existent here...

    Champion Airlines?

Yeah, things are not pretty right now... We're trying to hire like crazy... And it's not going to happen... So we'll lower our minimums to 1200TT and 400 multi... Oops... The regionals are hiring newbs with a quarter of the the TT and an 1/8th of the multi... Don't see the light at the end of...

    Champion Airlines?

Not a good contract at all... But have faith in our negoiating team... They're workin' extremely hard to change that. And one thing that someone told me before I came to MG, "you've never known tired until you've flown supplemental."

    Mesaba IPO

Nah, Mesaba itself is not traded under "MAIR". MAIR Holdings is traded under "MAIR". Mesaba is just a subsidiary along with Big Sky.

What is the longest time a union has been without a contract?

And I know that Champion Air is also in the running with the prior contract... And management intends to make this one the longest negotiated ever....

I don't know about you guys, but we are prohibited from using undilluted type I.

    Champion Air

First of all, you've made a choice of leaving to head to corporate. And I sincerely hope that it's working for you. As for myself, I had to make a tough decision and I'm doing the best with what I've got. And like I said, if "KEY" changes are made in the contract, life can become much better...

    Champion Air

I'll have to dig into my contract again, but I recall that it was 10 days off... There is no minimum day for any type of flying. Again, we are hoping to get this changed in the next contract. Living in base and working here all depends on your expectations. If you want to live in MSP, you'll...

    Champion Air

At this point, the 2000hr requirement isn't very solid at all... Champion is having a hard time filling the upcoming class. As for getting the panel, rest assured, if you are hired, you will take your tour of duty through the panel. It's actually a contractual requirement with ALPA.

    nwa-compass hiring

Well, once the XJ guys up and head out of here, we are going to be in a serious bind for FE's. The company is struggling right now to fill classes for pre-existing attrition. Now you throw in the fact that we are going to be losing around a 1/4 of our FE's when these guys depart, and you can see...

    nwa-compass hiring

The whole deal with a couple of Champion guys not coming back is still up in the air... Things around Champion could get dicey in short order, thus turning a bad working environment into something far worse...

    Champion Air

There's been quite a bit written on here about working at Champion. Do a search and you'll find bunch... But in a nut shell: If you are a senior captain or FO in MSP, yeah, life really isn't too bad at all. Once you get to an outstation and your junior, life is really not good at all. We have...
