Translation- I can't really defend what TSA pilots did, so I'm going to claim that stealing someone else's flying is somehow different from someone stealing flying from us.
Indeed. This convenient blindness to the fact that the pilots flying for the Big Boys dress just as poorly is laughable. I just rode on a major to get to work the other day, and the captain arrived with a backpack, no hat and a sticker on the side of his bag that said something along the lines...
I'M wrapped tight? You are getting heartburn about the potential "demands" of a pilot group that you have no involvement with, and I'm the one who needs to relax?
Get over yourself.
Here's MY heartburn.... Why in the hell do you care what the GAC pilots would "demand" if'n they DID get bought? Who cares what "most people" think? If you don't have a dog in this fight, I fail to understand why you're so concerned with what the GAC pilots will try to salvage in the unlikely...
Not necessarily definitive, but here it is anyway:

Highlights:
-loss of power and bang occured at around V1 speed (maximum speed, at which decision to reject takeoff can be safely taken).
-Two seconds after the bang all four engines were brought to...
Actually, I didn't ask a question in the literal sense. It was more of a hypothetical musing about how you seem to find every imaginable fault with the Polar group and none with your own.
I'm glad to see that my smart @ss "question" has been "factually" backed up by ALPA and an independent...
Up a rope yourself, sweetie. Your hate-filled anti-Polar rhetoric is at least as damaging as any imagined group effort at Polar to damage YOUR pilot group. Do you imagine that any person on the Polar list wants anything to do with being under YOUR thumb if there's an integration, based upon...
If you actually DID confront someone, I'll give you a little credit for sticking to your guns and making an ass of yourself in public and not just making an ass of yourself on a bulletin board.
Comments like this are what makes it impossible to take any of the GoJet bashing seriously... The "prestige" of this job was gone long before GoJet was a gleam in Hulas' eye.
Just like I've yet to meet a GoJet basher who will actually do/say anything to a GoJet pilot in person. There are some out there, but nowhere near the ratio that would be presumed from reading flightinfo.
Since when is listing interview gouge evidence of "supporting" anything?
As for "legitimizing" GoJet, it seems United Airlines, Teamsters, and the growing list of airlines who are hiring their pilots away have provided all the "legitimizing" they need.
Hmmm... I wonder... Since this didn't happen, could it be that someone overreacted or misrepresented the facts?
Not that I KNOW or anything, just curious. :)
