Word on the street at AA (well, TWA ) is that STL Chief Pilot will retire 8/31 to take a job at Atlas.

Friend of Atlas pilot requests more info. Atlas pilot talks to TWA guy who forwards posts from TWA board to Atlas pilot who forwards them to Atlas MEC.

Atlas MEC calls current VP Flt. Ops. who goes ape $h!t.

VP Flt. Ops. calls Atlas company President and goes ape $h!t to him on the phone. President fires VP Flt. Ops. on the spot.
