You didn't answer the question and you called me a Dick .... ? I don't think your going to be holding anybodies hand Tex. Except your own.

By the way. You really don't find too many grown men using "LOL". You know that right ... ?

seniority is forever

As long as your Company is still around. Ask anybody about their ATA seniority.

Nothing is forever, except death.

Could we please get a thread where we don't have to see the Double Delto Morons and their new buddy Lumbcrap. And while we are purging the lav, stuff the Alaska goofball in the craptank. It's pathetic how you guys, who have no connection to either SWA or AAI, continue to post on our threads. The jealousy is rather pitiful. I know that Southwest threads are the only thing important in aviation right now, but try being a little less covetous, it's actually rather sad.

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAAAAHHAHAHHA! Get your own forum! Oh no! "OUR THREADS...." I bet the 4 of us will continue to respond because we are right, and you know it. Jealousy? I like your payrate and look forward to getting something similar eventually, but I don't want your regional schedules and your narrowbody fleet forever. Quit your crying and give the AT guys something fair, and this will all die down. You're getting called out on your bad behavior towards your future coworkers, and everyone can see it. Have fun on OUR THREADS....

So the AT guys shouldn't fight for their seniority because you think SWA may not be around forever? How about being able to enjoy your seniority and what it brings while your company IS STILL AROUND? Is that worth fighting for? Do you think getting great pay but not having weekends off for your kids for years and living on a beeper or cell would be worth the large increase in pay? For years? And how do you know death is forever?

Do you think over playing ones hand could backfire?

Do you think GK really likes the 717? The ATN guys know, he told them - he doesn't like the airplane.

Think Oil is going to go down? Think the economy will improve soon?

I think its all worth fighting for until you arrive at that fork in the road moment. This is that fork in the road moment. Yes, knowing what you are getting or No, taking a chance and hope you get something better? All this, before the CEO changes his mind about the company he just bought. Many things to consider. He has the excuse he needs to do almost anything to AirTran - and their counsel has told them about this risk.

Ah choices, ask any Frontier dude about taking chances and trying to see what is in the bush. Sometimes it works.

Mikelsons ran it into bankruptcy before we showed up Slick.

Gup

From which ATA exited with JD at the helm, and then promptly began pulling out of the MDW markets, legitimizing a transaction allowing for SWA to acquire gate leases that ATA held. The airline had no chance of survival. As a reward (imo), JD got a nice seat on the LUV BOD.

"Slick"? That hurts.

I know business is business, but how about showing a little humility for the fact that much of SWA's growth (pilot advancement/upgrades)in MDW during this period came at the expense of many ATA pilots? Btw, the final transaction was LUV buying ATA in the last bankruptcy, just for the LGA slots.

I don't know. Maybe it really was a bad dream.
