I think we have just cleared the last hurdle in granting NJI pilots the password. However, it will not give you access to the entire message board, only the NJI section. (The NJA section is a benefit of membership established in the Bylaws. Union leadership will have accecss to the NJI portion.) Stay tuned.
There wont be more than maybe 50 buyouts. I actually hope I am wrong
and exactly where are the NJI guys supposed to get this password?
...according to a few very informal polls about 60 percent plan to make no change to their current schedule. I am not saying they are wrong or right but 40 percent of the pilots flying a few days less a month would make it difficult to mitigate a furlough possibility entirely and I am 150 from the bottom so I have quite a vested interest in this. ...

Currently there are 7% of the folks that have filled out the informal online survey that said they plan on taking the early out. That translates to over 200 NJA wide. I''m betting we beat 50 by a country mile.
...and down on my knees pounding the floor begging and praying that a few names in particular take it.
where is this informal survey? Can someone PM me the address?
Ever read "How to lie with stats". People who are going to take one of the options are more likely to post that on the scorecard. So I think it is silly to think because 7 percent show an early out that we will somehow get 250 early outs
come on dude. seriously?
what Grizz is saying is by taking the percentage of the 150 pilots that have taken the non-informal pole and taking the number of pilots that are taking the early out and than applying that to the total number of pilots we have overall and then take that percentage into it.
oh god, I just had a brain freeze. It is simple stats, you pole so many people and then find an average percentage overall.
you pole so many people.
