For my CubCrafters Carbon Cub FX-3 I spent the big bucks and got the Best Tugs A3. It is nice to have but for my use I'd say it wasn't necessary. I initially bought the Scott tow bar for the 3200 tailwheel and it works fine and it's nice to throw in the cargo pod should I need it on a cross country. The Scott tow bar is just shy of $300, pretty expensive for this contraption and the Best Tugs A3 ran me around $3K.

Bush tires can make the plane a bit hard to push around so the tow bar of some type does help.

I bought the one from CubCrafters, it's from Bogert, you can get them on AircraftSpruce.

It works perfectly fine and I take it with me in my cargo pod when going cross country, but I never go cross country :)

But yeah, I fell for the spend stupid money on a stupid expense super cub so I got the Best Tugs A3 which was around 3K in 2021 dollars. It works well. Necessary? No. Some people don't even use the tow bar. It depends on your hangar situation I suppose.
