For my CubCrafters Carbon Cub FX-3 I spent the big bucks and got the Best Tugs A3. It is nice to have but for my use I'd say it wasn't necessary. I initially bought the Scott tow bar for the 3200 tailwheel and it works fine and it's nice to throw in the cargo pod should I need it on a cross country. The Scott tow bar is just shy of $300, pretty expensive for this contraption and the Best Tugs A3 ran me around $3K.
Bush tires can make the plane a bit hard to push around so the tow bar of some type does help.
