The fun part will be watching SAPA leadership try and put lipstick on this pig!

Isn't "SAPA" Management over there?

They have to manage your expectations. That's why they won't put it out to the pilots.

whats the point. vote alpa in, pay freez (during negotiations), 4 years later you have already upgraded and moved on. AND ALPA IS STILL "NEGOTIATING" THE FIRST CONTRACT. uhhhhmm, thanks but no thanks

buuuu bye

...and that's different from the current condition at SkyWest how??? Might as well take the contract and ALPA benefits also.

A check airman on SAPA told us it was basically this:

1% base increase to -200 rates
5% further increase for a -700/900 override
No increase for Bro pilots
No retro pay
Override is only paid for actual 700/900 flight time (a couple exceptions) and will only be paid IF you break daily AND monthly guarantee.
4 year "duration"

Yes they are.

Though acting under the guise of pilot representatives. They are actually just a way for management to implement and disseminate bad news to the pilots.

Exactly.

BTW, wtf is up with that? No raise for the Bro guys/gals? \

Seeing that you fly 8 legs a day in what sounds like a death trap, you all should get the biggest raise.

Because any pay increases you have under your current agreement stay in place during negotiations. If JA tries to circumvent that, he is in violation of RLA law.

Not as cut a dried as you make it sound. North American pilots suffered a pay cut after voting in IBT, this was a company wide effort to reduce cost and was upheld in court. ATLAS pilots suffered loss of profit sharing program after voting in ALPA. They sued and won after arguing that they had been singled out as an employee group that had been targeted. Could go either way.
