And flight attendants have a weight and age limit...

-- all a/c (jet, prop, solar, wind, geothermal, telekinesis...all) 50 seats or larger flown by mainline pilots

Why don't you just ask for a hummer at check in since this is a dream TA as well?

You sir are a genius, but said hummer must come from a company supplied porn star of employee choice, if no suitable porn stars meet the pilots taste, a exec of at least V.P. status will make himself available in the crew lounge, to stand with feet no closer than 36", blindfolded and said pilot will have the option of a closed fist strike to the face or soccer style kick to the junk, if said exec is female then a S&W .500 will be provided and wounding shots are discouraged. Oh yes additional punches, kicks and shots will be assessed at .25 cents each and the association will provide all ammunition, .400gr hollow point being the minimum, Hydrashock is optional. If pilot is female, force multiplication will be made available, crystal meth and 36" Louisville Slugger are to be provided.
One can dream!

Thanks. If all absences are loaded after the PBS run, then vacation will take care of itself at more than 200%. You can bid a two 30-hour trips, one touches the first day of vacation and the other touches the last day of vacation, then the bid is awarded and the trips have to be bought from you because you've got vacation in that spot--like it used to be. You get paid 60 hours for two trips not flown.

This is why they got rid of this in C'02. It was a moneymaker and pilot emploment program. Plus the open time and trip trade really meant something. Now, not so much.

They had to drop whatever was touching the vacation but you only got paid for the part of the trip that actually overlapped the vacation days, in your example that would only be two days. If you were senior enough on the 777 you could get paid 51+ hours for one week. You can blame the a-hole's who negotiated POS '02 because the vacation policy was "low hanging fruit."

That was a lot of fruit.
