The rumor has it that Frontier will be hiring in masses this summer...Anyone have any insight to this? Also heard that the minimums might be lowered? Anyone??

Fingers and toes still crossed, anxiously awaiting a call!

Where did you hear that rumor?
I can tell you I did not hear that rumor yet and I can also tell you our minimums are pretty low as it is, therefore they might be raised if anything at all.

Anyway, Good luck and I hope you are right about the increased numbers. Last I heard was 70-75 people left to be hired. This number was before we interviewed 8 people.

Hi All, I'm brand new to posting, but have been following forums for a long time. Anyway, I am also waiting to hear, and have been told any time now. Does anyone know anything about how they contact potential interviewees? I hear just email. Is there any truth to this?
 
There is going to be 1 class in april, may, and june. Then classes will resume in sept or oct and are penciled in till march of next year. So at 10 a class that is 90 more by next march. I saw the trainning outline about a month ago.
 
I've witnessed a lot of rumors turn into facts from the F9 Flight Info threads (including some of the forecasts I posted). This is an exciting time. Good luck to all. That being said, AnimalTale is right more often than not and I'd go with his numbers.

Hey what's happening? Stratus - congrats...I'm still waiting for the interview. Been busy lately and haven't had a chance to get on the board.

F9 Recruiter - what's the status for interviews through April/May/June...keeping my fingers crossed you've got me on your list.

Had an interesting thing happen to me the other day. My "sponsor" got a call from HR wondering why I didn't show up for the last interview session. Apparently they sent an email inviting me for an interview but unfortunately I didn't receive it. I check my email regularly and have no spam filter so I am wondering what happened. Has anyone heard of something like this happening before? From what I understand only 8 of 14 showed up which makes me think something may have happened with the emails. I am just wondering if I will ever get a second chance or am I SOL? I have been waiting for an interview chance with Frontier for a long time and hate to think I missed my chance over an email I never received. There is nothing that would keep me from attending an interview but will I always be labeled as the guy who "stood up" Frontier? Any suggestions/comments?

I'm sure you've done this, but have your SB contact the company and explain the situation. Perhaps you could even call HR and let them know? I know there are thousands who would love to interview...for six not to show up....seems odd.

On a lighter note, I'm back in Denver today. Meeting with HR to go over my paperwork and take the drug test. This is the last hurdle. Can't imagine my past will prevent me from attending class. ;-) Nonetheless, it will be nice to know that everything came back in the clear.

Hey gobigred1, I've heard of the same stuff going on. I talked to my silver bullet, sponser, whatever, and he told me about that happening to someone. But if you read back down the line on the messages, it looks like stratus got an email AND a phone call. So I'm hoping that they changed their tactics. In the meantime, I got in touch with my friend and he said he was looking into the deal with the email only notification....

Well, I did get a call/voice message from Gary. He just asked for me to call him back. Never actually said what the call was about. I was unable to contact him the entire next week. A week later I received an email invite. Not sure if the two were related.

Stratus, happy as could be for you brother - welcome aboard! Shrek, hang in there bud - your time will come. Hang in there everyone; this is a great time for Frontier. A dream come true for me and I'm sure many others. I've heard that not everyone here has used their silver bullet. We need good internal recommendations so if any of you know anyone here, double check to see if they have spent their SB. If not, keep after it anyway. I know of a couple guys (starchkr) who got picked up without one, but in preserving the culture and finding good folks, SBs are an excellent way of identifying those individuals.
