Attrition is picking up, I've been here 5 1/2 years, and I've moved up 10 in the last 2 weeks. Also, you guys looking for a quick upgrade...you can't go to a respectable airline and expect to be a captain in a year. Go work for GO JETS if you want some garbage like that.
hey genius
every airline in the USA operates a few aircraft with out an APU every single day of the week without problems..yes it is easier with a working APU..but this is clearly ground ops problem..don't say stupid things
haha really? god you are stupid..so 4 airplanes MIGHT go back to the united system..its not like skywest was making a huge profit on them anyways..if our entire future is hanging on those 4 airplanes, i quit..
if passengers would pay a fair price for tickets, maybe we could restore the industry to what it used to be..now everyone hates flying and just complain about all the things the airlines lack..its costs the same today to fly new york to LA as it did in the 1970's..maybe less! pilot quality, and...
yeah you do have to have a special sim session and checkride to fly in and out of aspen..its a pretty intense procedure and miss approach, especially if single engine..so it does require more training..aspen flying usually goes junior at our company because not everyone wants to fly it, and it...
do i need another reason to laugh at the people who still pay 2% to ALPA..i hope they go bankrupt..i left my ALPA airline and went to a better place, wish i had done it sooner
you mean make even more noise about his hero status..its really funny to hear the two of them talk...jeffs comments are always about himself, and sully's are not..
we can be closed up, ready to push, but we, by the rules, are not allowed to drop the break until AFTER de-ice..we can't even get the on time departure, per the rules, in the winter time if we have to deice. I do know people who have been called in on it, but no one who has really got in...
yeah well when i drop my brake and get audited...you get in trouble...
Yeah contractual language between SKYW and UA..They don't want us to drop the brake until the aircraft is ready for movement. I usually ignore that in order to get the on time departure..and since our flights are always...
Am I the only one outraged by how ridiculous it is that we don't get paid during the deice procedures at the gate? With the door closed, full of passengers? Do United Airlines pilots, or other UAX carriars have to follow the same procedures as SKYW? It has been explained to me that due to...
ALPA is worthless to regional airlines..go to United if you want ALPA..or comair...or mesa..or any of the other long list of outstanding regionals who are greatly benefiting from ALPA..I think i'll vote NO again..
i would say that mesa might not be around by the time you could even get an interview....but everyone knows that only cockroaches and mesa would be left after a nuclear war.....don't do it
I'm not sure the Jumpseat Denial program is the best idea. I mean, United pilots didn't pick the way the system is. But this is what it has come down to, how else do you get your point across? All of the UAX airlines have been begging and negotiation with United for over 9 months now on this...
...Greener pastures....you gotta be kidding me!!?? who do you fly for? i can't imagine it being better than skywest! skywest is even better now that we don't have to worry about that ALPA horse*%*%.....yeah maybe we'll become better like ASA...or comair...or freedom...hahaha what a joke man
yeah you're right JOE..ASA pilots are all welcome on my (skywest) jumpseats anytime...Blame Alpa because they suck...jumpseats are for everyone..one jumpseat denial at a time can screw you, and your airline friends from riding on a carrier..i'd watch out JP..
