I was looking for flights to Aspen and I saw that Skywest flies there from Denver. I was wondering , does your company require special training to qualify to fly in and out of there, especially at night?
thanks
Hello guys/gals,
I am trying to jumpseat down to Ixtapa, Mexico in May (Cabo). Does Express accept international jumpseaters? If so, what is the process? Do I need to list or just show up at the gate?
thanks,
Johnny
Hello all,
Im looking for info regarding jumpseating to Mexico City. I have read that UPS and FedEX do NOT allow international jumpseaters. Is that still true? If so, do any of the legacy carriers allow international jumpseating?
thanks,

Blue retirement/stepping stone to FedEx?
Not trying to flame you guys so PLEASE don't be offended when I ask the following question. After reading several threads on jetBlue and considering; their less then robust compensation, commuting to JFK/crash pad in Queens, and little retirement, is...
got this "friend" who has an opportunity to get typed and fly a GIV for a private owner (plus some charter/about 500-550 hours a year total). The owner is gonna upgrade from his GIII to the IV. My friend is currently typed and flying as a captain on the G1159. What kind of salary can he command...
Okay, so Ive always heard that Gulfstream pilots were the highest paid pilots in the corporate/part 91 world and always read about payscales in the six figures. I have recently learned that at least two operators, one private the other charter, pay their Gulfstream III Capts (co-captain in the...
The Home Depot has a posting on Climbto350.com looking for "junior captains". This is the third time in about a year and a half that they have had a position to fill. I interviewed there May '04, no luck. Seems like it would be a great place to retire from. Does anyone know if they REinterview...
I never thought that I would consider this but heres my situation and I need some advice. The company that I fly for as captain on a Learjet also operates Gulfstreams. I have to go to recurrent training soon which will require me to sign a training bond (yeah, I know it sucks). Not wanting to...
What kind of payscale could I expect as an F/O on a Challenger 601? Primarily Part 91 job with a little charter on the side. Did a search, no luck.
Thanks,
Johnny
What ever happened to the United FA strike? I seem to remember reading last week that "CHAOS" was going to start over the 4th of July weekend.
Just wondering,
Johnny
Okay, heres the situation. Ive got a "friend" who currently flies as PIC in a Lear 35 for your typical PART 135 company. This company is going to make him a check airman on the Lear. The pay is good, quality of life is not.
My "friend" has been offered a PART 91 job also flying Lears as PIC...
Anyone know when the feds are going to complete the new regs? I would imagine that alot of bottom feeder operations with scumbag owners are gonna hate not being able to abuse their crews anymore. From what Ive read, the new regs will address all the duty time issues and make life a little better...
Okay folks,
got a real hum dinger for ya. Is the name JetBlue or jetBlue? I just filled out there online app and I will feel pretty silly if I can't even get their name right.
Thanks,
Johnny
Just saw that Coke is looking for a captain on the Planesjob website. It doesnt specify what type of aircraft. Does anyone have any info?
thanks,
Johnny
Ive got a Lear 35 owner who is interested in putting his aircraft on Part 135 Certificate and running some charter with the airplane. He basically wants me to fly him about 150 hours a year and run charter on the side. I believe it is a good opportunity for me but I have very little experience...
Okay guys/galls,
Ive got a buddy that is starting Fed Ex in about two weeks and wanted to get some opinions concerning what aircraft to bid if he has a choice. Rumor has it that he may be able to bid the MD-11 as a new hire instead of FE on the 727 or DC-10. He has a Lr 35 & 45 type,Citation...
