PSA to Furlough
Do you realize how many airplanes your talking about CRJ? USAir cant even finance the ones they have an order now, and now you want to Drop all contract carriers? That would be many many cities to lose USAir service, which also means less feed. I would guess Mesa has 60jets, Tsa 15, CHQ, 30... -

Dude you got it all wrong. Yeah we are drooling over all the CAL (cant wait to fly that globe around)flying, but what we really cant wait for is to become part of Travolta Air. Word is he already has bought ATA and is just going to cover up the first A and WAMMO, travolta air. -

A real steady flow for sure. You and I agree though its not the pilots nor the gate agents. You put any company in there with that size of an operation with the gate USAir operates, and you will see similar results.- KingAirer

Apples and Oranges. I dont know about you but if I were a gate agent, Id rather have 150 going out one jetway to one plane, rather then 150 people going to 5 planes down below the main terminal, plus having to be bussed out to various planes. Welcome to gate 35...Only a portion of it is shown...- KingAirer

There is a big difference! Those 17 flights are spread out over a day, where in DC there can be 15 planes out there at once! Huge difference.- KingAirer

DCA is a cluster out in commuter world no doubt. But right now, without building anything extra it will contiue. When Jetblue starts operating 15 flight out of 2 gates, let me know.- KingAirer
