From what i understand, Delta will indeed have priority over anyone on Delta flights. Delta will have equal priority over everyone on their connection carrier, except skywest and asa where the current policy will remain in place.
It's all posted on DeltaNET.
No names or info, so I will post it.
1. All pilots on long-term sick leave (12 months or longer) were removed
from the pre-merger lists.
2. The 274 oldest Northwest pilots were removed from the pre-merger list.
3. The first 3045 positions on the ISSL were filled with the first 1961 Delta...
My guess is that these orders are going to be toast at DAL. Prob replaced with 777s. there have been hints for a while now, and this push will probably seal the deal.

Delta Looks To 777 As Relief From 787 Woes

Delta is considering Boeing 777s as either a temporary or permanent replacement for the 787 order it will inherit when it finalizes its takeover of Northwest, sources tell The DAILY.
This revelation...
I'd call it right down the middle right now, with a possible majority of yea. I have not been at work all that much though. What's the skinny over in red land?
Mostly for my NWA brothers:
Our RASM is now at 104% of industry average - we planned on reaching that goal by the end of the year, expect to get to 109% by early next year
Delta is making $1B per year with AmEX contract.
Hoped to get 2,000 employees to take the early retirement. Actual number...
I thought you had the inside track to this stuff. Is there truth to the rumor of 2 additional 777s and the md90s in '09. What about the hiring in sept?
Are we actually bucking the trend over here, or are rumors, as usual, just rumors.
:bomb:
To welcome NWA pilots to our ranks, and to add that I feel privileged to be joining yours. Somebody will post our whole chairman's letter soon, and he says the same.
I look forward to having a Kingfisher with you guys at Anil's.
No doubt that there will be ugliness over the course of the...
Now that it is announced, here are some details of what the Delta pilots negotiated:
A three and one-half percent equity stake in the merged Company in fully tradeable stock at the close of the merger
Annual pay raises beginning with a five percent raise on January 1, 2009 and followed by...
FWIW
Everything done.
Top 30% DOH
Next 30% 1:2
Rest 1:3
747,787 fenced Rebid the whole system in 1 year except fenced a/c. 14% DC and some form of equity.
Someone else had said the 330s and SEA, ANC bases also fenced. No Delta bases or equipment fenced.
Very loose rumor, but first one I...
are busy. Yesterday, several volunteers of the strike committee were given trip drops in about a week and a half. Couple that with the boards meeting last thursday and friday, and that points to something being afoot in Delta land.
A shotgun wedding perhaps? Time to inflate the rat.
Delta is planning to launch a new version of the coach seat on the 777 and 767 international in 2010.
I have not yet sat in it, but it certainly looks more comfortable than the usual seat.
The maker is Thompson solutions in Ireland. Delta will be the launch customer for it and have EXCLUSIVE...
C'mon NWA. Just walk away from it.
-Delta has too much debt anyway.
-Delta would be the only one gaining anyway.
-Delta's factual analysis that every NWA pilot would have a better financial outlook with Delta's list doesn't matter because NWA seniority isn't for sale
-You have all of that...
As of this moment, I have received notice that DAL and NWA could not come to terms on a SLI deal. Thus, no merger as of now.
Pretty much what the Delta pilots have been saying is what happened, according to the Delta Chairman. 2 separate meetings between the powers that be led to no...
My prediction was off. TK cannot hold captain, as I predicted, by the end of the year. Nor did I receive international captain, as I predicted prior to the end of the year. I missed tk by about 6-700, although a former furloughee will now be a captain, and I still missed it by 100 or so...
Hey all,
Looking to jumpseat out of JFK next month....really need to get home early. Block in to LGA around 9PM. I will cab it over to JFK ASAP, but don't know if that will be fast enough to make the last flight out to SDF. Any ideas? A PM might be more appropriate if you wish.
