First of all, I highly doubt anyone can finish a college degree in 4 weeks. Thats just the name of the website!
However, if one could finish in 4 weeks they probably have enough brains to stay out of aviation!
Perhaps the airline you interviewed for finds these Regionally accredited universities that are recognized by the US Department of Education to have no merit, but I think your blanket statement that "the airlines all know of these places, and their value is HIGHLY discredited" is full of crap...
Check this website out : www.bain4weeks.com
It has a lot of good info and resources on earning a regionally accredited college bachelors degree by challenge exams through,

I thought Skywest Airlines was a non union carrier. The tentative agreement (TA) is an agreement between who? In other words, any "TA" that Skywest management presents to the pilot group is not a "TA" but rather an imposition of managements will.
...cards just to survive. By my 3rd year I was finally able to start paying off the credit cards and make a little bit of money.
I heard a fellow pilot tell me he'ld be better off going back to Iowa and sucking buffalo **** for a nickle a heard. He would make more money and get his self respect...

First of all, I want to say that my hat is off to you dispatchers! Most of you do an outstanding job!
Secondly, I know a fellow that is a dispatcher for a 121 carrier and makes $10 an hour. In my opinion, this wage is totally unacceptable for the work and responsibility required of a...
"Pilots having to pay to jumpseat.
Other pilots justifying this as ok.
Sad state of affairs."
Pilots are not paying for jumpseats! Pilots are given the opportunity to buy a non-rev ticket if the "jumpseat" is taken.
"Internet or correspondence courses dont fly very well with them! I know there are a lot of people that fall into this catagory and dont like hearing this but its true (wife works in HR at a major). "
I've never seen an official college transcript differentiate between correspondence, distant...

Duty time?
Now the question is what is the definition of duty time? Lets say you have a 12 hour reserve and on the 12th hour they call you for a trip. Do you have 16 hours from that point or 4 hours?
The company I work for says you can work the 16 hours because you weren't on duty while...
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought if you are a commercial pilot and you land at an airport different from the one you departed (even if it is within 50 nm), it is considered a cross country flight. 61.1(3)(C)
It may not count as x-c time for your students but it should count as x-c time for...
