I thought Skywest Airlines was a non union carrier. The tentative agreement (TA) is an agreement between who? In other words, any "TA" that Skywest management presents to the pilot group is not a "TA" but rather an imposition of managements will.

If they allow their pilots to vote on the issue how is it an imposition of management's will? The true test will be if and when the pilots vote it down if they will get a better or worse TA. Their management team seems to do things in a way to preclude unions from getting in the door. Does anyone know if there have been threats of furloughs if the TA does not pass?

sky west not a union?
are you thinking about 'big sky'? i know theyre not.

mabye sky west isnt, i dunno. theyre the 'comair' of the west tho...
