These shirts fit me right out of the package. It's amazing what being in the recommended BMI will do for how any uniform looks. It seems to me that those complaining of long sleeves ordered shirts that are too big. The neck size does seem to be more directly correlated to sleeve length than...
Don't take thinking the 190 has a place in the company for me supporting our PEA, they are completely separate issues. I'm not sure you actually read the last part of my post where I stated I think we could be fragmented or worse. I just don't think it makes sense from a market standpoint...
Many bus guys despise the 190 and blame it for stagnation, most refuse to admit how much growth it's responsible for and that it actually makes money - even with the engine maintenance mismanagement this year. Boston would be nowhere near what it is now and we wouldn't serve many of our markets...

It will be neither DL or WN. I'm a JB pilot within driving distance to ATL so I know for certain that it can't happen. End of story.

Almost everyone I fly with was a Captain at one of the regionals, had good recs, and are a pleasure to fly with. They are good guys and gals who I wouldn't be surprised to see leave when the majors start hiring.
The only thing JetBlue listens to is market forces. When the mass exodus to the majors starts and they can't fill the seats, things will change. Just like in '07. The rest is lip service.
That used to be true. They've been steadily paying down debt with free cash and increasing liquidity to about 1.2B. While that's good for financial stability, it also makes them a little prettier at the prom, unfortunately.
No skin in the game here, but I think everyone's forgetting that we pilots aren't the center of the universe. A good deal for the company is a good deal for shareholders. If the deal made sense, they're not going to stop it because of one work group who feels entitled. I personally wish good...
It doesn't look like the owner of the site shut it down. It looks like the hosting company suspended it for using too many resources on a shared server. The traffic spike since the filing probably got it suspended.
Looks to me that they were on shared hosting and were using too many resources. It's a common reason for a hosting company to suspend a site. For the traffic it gets, it needs to be on it's own VPS or server.
That sounds a little like attacking the person and not the issue. Who cares how many posts I have. Can I still not make a valid point? I simply want to know what constitutes a major in the Flightinfo.com definition book. It seems a little arbitrary to me or whatever the moderators FEEL is a...
ATL-MCO has a lot of frequency but is always full with multiple jumpseaters. Just met another SWA guy on the commute last week who was throwing in the towel and going back to BWI.
In all the CASM discussion, don't forget to factor in the mortgage/lease costs. The 190's cost less than half as much not to mention the interest on the additional capex.
