What a stupid statement. You do realize that where an aircraft gets hit will determine if it stays in the air?

Oh,no doubt.Prove me wrong, though. If it was as "disposable" as some of you maintain, the tail should have broken off like an A300,but it didn't.

Cliff...just a small point of correction...the "190s" are ERJs.

It's a little redundant to see "190" and "ERJ" referred to as different aircraft

190 vs 145 is easier to differentiate.

To stick up for Cliff, actually Embraer markets the 135, 145 etc as ERJ's and the new models 170, 190 etc as E-Jets. They even split them up on their website. Normally I wouldn't say anything, but if your going to get picky..... ;)

Bluestreak,

Just stick with cool classic Fords. Analogies don't seem to be your thing.

And structures expertise ain't yours.Hey,Boeing could use some on the 787,maybe you can offer some advice. They seem to be having issues.Meanwhile, you still can't prove me wrong.Just saying "Why,everybody knows Brand B is just better built" doesn't make it so.

In all the CASM discussion, don't forget to factor in the mortgage/lease costs. The 190's cost less than half as much not to mention the interest on the additional capex.
