He is right. There is more than 1 regional airline that has better work work rules, benefits (ie med insurance), pay as a percentage of seats, retirement and more. Did you read the PCRB report. -

I don't think its all about flying bigger jets-some people just dislike the day to day job at NJA and don't want to do that for the rest of their careers. Just like if you didnt like the airline lifestyle-you would look elsewhere. -

Maybe the company should put more emphasis on trying to keep their people-the rah rah only works for so long and then reality sets in. JB is not a bad place-and depending on when a given pilot was hired you can do well and have a decent QOL but in the end you have to do what is best for you... -

Spent 3 1/2 yrs at NJA...decent place and great pilots. NJA vs JB day to day job doesnt even compare. You will be doing allot more at NJA than flying the airplane. If it's what you like then good on ya. I couldn't wait to leave. Fly Safe C -

Wrong answer...even with the recent low raise-we do not make as much as the US Air 190 Captains currently make at 95 an hour and their proposed raise is to 125 an hour. I have to agree. -
