Cactusboy, AWA was the first airline to apply and receive money from the ATSB after 9/11, 350 million dollars, and still owed 300 million in 2005..this money ultimately save the Airline.

But they had enough to supposedly pay the USAir payroll even before the merger was complete, thus saving their airline, which would have been gone first. They had enough credit to "mortgage" their airline to save USAir. Tell us that isn't true....

Congratulations General.

You have once again succeeded at pitting work groups against each under under the transparent guise of your concern for the industry.

Please mind your own business instead of getting Some sick thrill of making people angry by using their livelihoods as a tool.

deleted... not worth it... I'll stick to the topic at hand.

Most of us just ignore him anyway

Come on Dash. I am allowed to give my opinion about important topics, and the NIC award is serious. Disregarding that binding award affects all of us. You sign up for it, you accept it, end of story. I have toned down my slams, but I can still opine, and this one is easy to do. Thanks for trying to look out for me, though.

The tally of your excessive posts speaks volumes of your social intellect. I really hope that there are no children in your home.

Sounds like the Eastie Capts you fly with have successfully brainwashed you. Ignoring me doesn't take away the fact that they disregarded a binding award.

Classic response from someone who can't debate the facts. Try to go after the person, instead of trying to debate the issue. You will lose.

General:

I love your post.....

"But they supposedly had enough to pay for the USAir payroll"..........

You speak of this as it is a fact yet say "supposedly".....and then you use that as the basis for the Nic.

AWA didn't mortgage anything. Wall Street bankrolled the merger.

What a piece of work you are. I sure hope you are out there "helping" young aviators pick the right airline.

Again....why is the West workforce flying 25% of the East ASM's?

I am glad you "LOVE" my posts. I say "supposedly" and "apparently" because I wasn't there in person. You obviously THINK you were, and that's wrong. You and the other EASTIE supporters are trying to dodge the fact that BOTH the East and West MECs agreed to Nicolau, and they, along with the company, signed on the bottom line. There is NO disputing that, hence why there is no "supposedly" attached to that. The facts don't lie, and instead you like to suppport a side that disregards a binding award. We all know it.
