What percentage of your pilot group are you talking about?
What percentage of their pilot group are they talking about?
Bingo-
Their whole career is designed to chase the carrot-
Some trips are great, some are awful- it's a major, so none of it is 8 legs a day bombing around Pennsylvania on 14 hour days
Nobody at SWA is confused that if you're into international flying and belly growing sundaes, that SWA would not be a good fit
What I think you're missing GL is that we all had choices as to what flying career we wanted when we got into it. Many of us have evolved in our opinions as well. Different people have different priorities. I'd never be the friend that tells my friends flying corporate that they should come to SWA- or my friends at regionals even-
I make choices for me, and others make it for them-
I have one friend who's always struggling financially, but just wants to instruct- so she's flying cessnas with students all day out of Tuscon- home every night, dog, pool, and kids - kind of broke, but I get a little jealous of no hotels now and then
To each their own
Let me say it again
To each their own
Please realize that as much as you love those trips- half of what you describe sound awful to me. That's why I came to SWA. This place fits me
Nobody is saying that delta is bad- legacy flying used to be my dream- I found out its not that great...FOR ME. Especially with the sellout factor.
now go ahead and keep f^cking that chicken GL, bc we all know you'll get the last word in
