Probably fracked up and set the temp wrong so the chineese glideslope was off...I can't believe some of those comments are from people smart enough to turn a computer on!

Sim cards-yeah, that's it! About half the size of a postage stamp but thicker. I think voip is a better deal though. Sked can't call it, your significant other won't call and wake you up after a long night drinking after 18 hours on duty and a thirteen hour flight halfway around the world (well, not really half way but that dateline crap messes me up. If God wanted us to go back in time we would have time machines.) You call people at your liesure when you are sober, good and rested and don't have a bunch of drunken pilots chasing hookers around the room!

Of course if you are technically proficient you can send people live pictures of drunken pilots chasing hookers around the room...

perhaps I should learn more about computers!

Best of all computer to computer calls are free!

I believe the 8th was the deadline to have their issues fixed before their certificate got yanked. I don't know how to check such things, though.

Weird, I usually get a message when reply has been posted, never got one for your post. I am looking into a phone with Skype built in, apparently it's out there somewhere but I'm still looking for it. If I don't find one, I might take you up on your offer if it's still available by then. Thanks for the thorough explanation, I appreciate it.

Well, some were recalled to Pace but the two I wrote of are going out west somewhere as new hires but not at Pace.

Ya, but at those extreme cold temps in Sweden my friend, how does she find 'em?:laugh: Anyhow brother, Akeem just finished ioe and is loving life (other than my upcoming 6 day reserve line). The company has this great thing I think they call "Flight Attendants!"

hehehehehehe...I still think that it's cool that I can get my own coffee inside the airplane...and a real cup holder...and have a place to get rid of used coffee in the plane!

Eh, there are some improvements but the big winners are first year guys, FE's (now on FO payscale instead of a secret lower scale which was always wrong IMHO) and senior guys. It is better, but not going to set any industry records by a long shot-even among the supplemental side of the industry.

Any word on the photo album?

I see, I talked to one of Kalitta guys on our layover in Honolulu and he made it sound like it was a great deal. Maybe he exaggerated a little, I don’t know?

I emailed Cindy and she never replied I‘ll email her again…I know she’s been busy with family stuff and you know, looking for job stuff…:(
 
Ah, it's better than we had for sure. The best thing about it is that it is done. I am just in a spot that the best of the perks miss me.

Things do seem to be changing for the better. It's ACMI and I try not to get too wrapped up 'cause it could be gone tomorrow.

I am just having a good time day by day.

Wishing the best for Cindy, she is a good one!
