Im losing alot of respect for flightinfo letting a moderator police this thread and activley be involved in it. Im sure since he works for one side of the aquisition he is totally un-biased!!!
Yes, I deleted the offending post. I always delete posts that are a violation of the ToS then post a warning about it after taking action against the specific member. Now c'mon, Lear...you're gonna participate AND censor on the same thread? Seems a little bit of a power play. I don't see attacks and profanity unless you've deleted something.
No, he's not. Not in the way Bob attacked Ty personally in one of his posts. You can disagree with someone and tell them they're delusional WITH THEIR THOUGHTS ON THE SUBJECT, out in left field, whatever, but direct personal slams that have nothing to do with the issue, including profanity, are blatantly against the ToS.Is Ty attacking Bob? I think he should get a few days off!
And I agree with you 100%. That's why I've said, repeatedly, that I hope we can come to an agreement that's fair and have a great working relationship as coworkers moving forward.I have to agree with above post. Like I said before in the end we are ONE team.
Me thinky former AirTranny now SWA.
"Bob Dylan":
Just curious. You left Continental and hired on at UPS the 2nd half of 2007. You have a great gig, and appear to have been very fortunate and very successful with your career. It is OBVIOUS that you have a great resume and solid background and demonstrated skillsets that 2 MAJOR Airlines wanted and hired. Congratulations... my hats off to you and I MEAN that.
Question: With these kind of credentials and accomplishments that YOU have achieved.... why do you exhibit the online immaturity that you have taken towards the AAI Pilots, and start and facilitate online bickering, dissent, and fights between 2 opposite carriers that have no concern to you?
It really surprises me to see someone of your stature and obvious position in this industry, to be so bored with life, to log online and act like this, anonymously behind a keyboard.
Why?
Me thinky former AirTranny now SWA.
.......... but using statements I made from the past and applying them to our situation now? A little out of context, don't ya think?
Or maybe he's a former SWA dude that's now an AirTranny. Oh, wait, there aren't any of those. Questions?
PW
Uh, just one.
What do you hope to accomplish with all of your negativity towards your future coworkers? You can post all day and all night, but it's not going to change your ISL position by one number. All you're doing is impressing yourself . . . . and no one else.

Since no one (except maybe one fired SWA dude - unsubstantiated) moved in the direction SWA to AAI but there are plenty of examples of the opposite, then it seems fairly unanimous which airline the pilot community would rather work at as a whole,
PapaWoody
How many SWA pilots left SWA to go to UAL, CAL, Delta, American, USAir?
