What again is stopping JB from setting up a holding company tomorrow? This document isn't allowing JB to do anything (that they can't do today), and is adding some limited protections for the JB pilots.

That said, it is a sad day for JB, as the company has for ever (last week to my face from a high level exc) said they have no interest in having anyone but JB pilots flying your tail and that is obviously bogus.

Unfortunally there is nothing were going to do about it if that's what mgmt wants. Those that think voting in ALPA will change that are idiots. (and i'm pro ALPA)

Absolutely nothing.

Four of the five documents approved by Yoder, Scott, Israel and Grasely are not incorporated or contingent on our PEA's which makes everything going on that more curious. Ultimately having the PVC "approve" these documents gives Jetblues actions credibility.

I disagree with your last statement however. Voting in ALPA and negotiating the terms, incorporating them into a CBA and having the ability to enforce the collective terms means everything. These documents will be forced on us whether we like it or not so our post CBA lives will be spent correcting the wrongs of our past. This option is still better than our current path.

The PVC giving consent is powerful if you believe in Culture.

Without it JetBlue would be just like every other operator.

Which of course JetBlue is but the the longer the myth survives the more value the DR returns to JetBlue.

"Keep the myth alive".

How you guys going to spend that big profit sharing payout?

I donated my above 5% to the Blue Pilot Fund on top of my regular monthly contribution.

If codeshare brings in more pax that connect on the mainline, then who cares....especially if it makes the company more money. GMAFB.

I love to fly and it shows

Why someone would list the Cessnas that they flew is beyond me.

When I had 3,800 hours, I loved to fly also. Shortly there after my parents stopped paying me an allowance :) and $1,485 a month - PIC King Air, Air Ambulance - wasn't enough.

I still like to sit in a plane (A320) and appreciate it allowing me a vote in what's going to happen next, but now it's money, schedule and stability, oh and a CBA.

He's having fun...he likes to stir the pot and is VERY good at it. Personally I would have him as my wing man anyday. :)

What I thought was funny is that he put that crap out there and *nobody* commented on it for four days. Just went on with the original thread as though he didn't exist. That would have been ideal I think. Don't feed the trolls.

Does anyone know what airline will provide the lift on the 78 seat or less aircraft and what type of aircraft will be used?

Is it just speculation that it will be AE with ATR's or is there a basis for that statement?

The lowest bidder.

Can't imagine. ATR's only operate out of Fla, Texas, and San Juan. Not exactly where JetBlue would take feed from.
