It's official... 2 independent sources confirm Gojet lackeys out in the desert finalizing acquisition of 15 CRJ200s. Half of new-hire mechanics at new IAD domicile going to CRJ training. Gojet agreement includes 50 pay scale. The endgame is coming... Trans States Airline pilots will be replaced by pilots in these aircraft. With 15 50 seat aircraft at Gojet a TSA strike loses much of its leverage. If you are a current or former ALPA member and are going to be at Gojet in the next 6 months or so, be prepared to earn a new label... SCAB.

This is exactly why Mesa pilots paid such a high price for one list.

I thought they were already scabs!

Tsa(h) likes to have 50 a/c on property or so (it's all they can handle)...15 new 700's, 15 new 200's, and 15 originally. That makes 45...all they need is 5 more. Regardless, they will be a quick majority to our 32 a/c and shrinking. Looks like TSA is going away.

game over.

:crying:

Lesee,
New hire mechanics, jets fresh in from oven roasting in the desert, flown by the dregs of the aviation community, sounds like quite the rosy situation.
PBR
Will be watching with amazement!

Whos birds will these be/where will they be coming from? They aren't building new ones anymore.

Seems crazy to think that any airline would add 50 seaters at this point.

Crazy? That sounds like the exact thing they would do. What ever makes sense, do the opposite.:smash:
TSA(H) Will not be adding 50 seaters, as they will merely be shifting the fleet from ERJs to CRJs and Continue the Furloughs From the Original TSA!

I mean, United adding 50 seaters. Or, is this simply still fulfilling the contract they have with United for X amount of airplanes, only now they're doing it with GoJets instead of Trans States? If thats the case, man that sucks.

But, yeah, does anyone know what airframes these CRJ-200s will be? Are they ones sitting in the desert right now from some other airline?

maybe theyll get some of the ex ACA/ ex Independance/ soon to be ex Chautauqua 200's...nothing would surprise me about this place anymore

have you been awake lately?

RAH is doing the same thing to Midwest. Scab wont stick, throw it around all you want. Regionals do not OWN the flying they do. It is all contract work.

Cheers

Not happening.

WELL LETS SEE HERE!!!!

my CEO (RAH) and Midwest CEO, are doing it!!!

DOESNT metter if we joing their rallys or they stand in front of his house...the Midweast guys and gals are getting it in the RUMP with out vaseline!!!

Remember a CBA, is the CEO's favorite toilet PAPPER!!:angryfire

While I am aware of the sentiments of some of the not RAH guys with respect to the RAH-Midwest deal, that is really not a valid comparison.

Even if you think the RAH guys should have quit or been fired rather than fly the Midwest flying, they did not quit one job to take a job with an alter ego operated by the same holding company.

Doing the flying under threat of termination is different from volunteering to do the flying.

ATTENTION GOJET PILOTS

You are not allowed on any Mesaba aircraft as a jumpseater. You are not approved by the company or the Union. The next time you get up at 4:00 am in STL to go to MSP or DTW or soon to be MEM please save yourself the drive and check who is operating the flight. All of the Captains know of this as it was issued in a company MEMO and distributed y the union.

In other words YOU ARE NOT WELCOME ON MESABA!!

I believe that they are already being paid 50 seat wages for what they fly now.
