Missing Information

OK, sorry to keep putting out the long string but I think this is as good as it gets with regards to current information. Bottom line is that calls went out for the 30 Oct class through the 20/21 Mar interview group. I know there has not been a 20/21 Mar group on here so far but the confusion arose over cjj's report of a 19/20 Mar group and my reservist telling me that was his date. Turns out he prepped on 19 and interviewed 20/21. Talking to him, he said there were 9 in his interview group with 3 being pulled for the widebody leaving 6 in the pool. All of them got calls last week. Since no one has chimed in with 19/20 Mar info and FEDEX has been pulling FIFO for 727 training....the assumption has to be that all of the suspected 9 were called. This helps to explain why the list didn't appear to move much with the last set of calls. Based on this data, it looks like the 29/30 Mar and early April groups can move to the shallow end of the pool and some of us can quit treading water and stand up now. I've updated the numbers below. Thanks to cjj for the info and clearing up some of the mystery!! Purple reflects people who have been called and red is new information.

The overall impact of the gibberish above is this -- 76 confirmed with 10 unconfirmed and rumors of 3 classes left before Christmas. Class size for the 30 Oct group was said to be 22 with a mix of FO/SO slots.

Talked to a friend thats a 727 Flex instructor today. He seemed to think that the next November class date is Nov 13 as opposed to Nov 27. He hadn't been over to the Gucci Building in awhile, but was going to check into it and get the full scoop.

Called today to update drug screen. Leshawn had no class date info to offer. I interviewed 04/25&26/2006.

When did you interview?? A buddy interviewed on the 10/11 of April and hasn't received the wiz call yet(3rd one). I think he said he was still good til mid November though.

Actually I do think that it was on the 11/12. Talked with him earlier today and yesterday he did get the call to update also. No info on when a class would be though! Any new info on the Nov class?? Thx LOA

Upcoming Class Dates

Latest gouge from my bud on property is class dates of Nov 27, Dec 4 and Dec 11. Those 3 classes should drain a total of 60 (subject to change of course) from the pool.

I got the call on Friday to update my drug test which I'll do this coming Monday.

It's been a few days with no info....just thought I'd move this to the front page. wmss...did your bud find out any info on class dates in Nov? Has anyone gotten any p test calls this week? My guess is 27 Nov with calls for class going out later this week or early next week. CONGRATS to the guys starting next Monday!!

Yeah man! Got invited to the 13 Nov class. Interviewed 5/6 April. No gouge to offer beyond what has already been mentioned.

I do want thank all you on Flightinfo for the good (and bad) info, advice, insight and encouragement that I've gotten from this board over the past couple of years. That goes double for the FDX poolies who have made this 4th poolie thread 320 posts and 22,000 views long.

I guess I can now stop hitting the refresh button on my browser every 10 minutes and get on with the other things that folks do with their computers, like surfing internet porn.

While surfing fi.com, if you hit ctrl+print screen and then paste that onto a word doc, then make that pic your desktop you can drive your boss crazy. They dont know if I am surfing fi.com or not! Quite funny to watch folks wonder why fi.com is still up with a "this computer is locked" window on top of the FedEx Poolie thread. (espically when fi.com is blocked where I work)

Rats. My FEw expires 30 November and it looks like one of the two Dec classes for me. Oh well, for a job at FedEx, I don't mind taking it again.

Just talked with my Bud, he thinks 8 made it to the pool from the Apr 11/12 interview group. Thinks 2-3 got the Mad Dog, one other that he knows of got the call also for the Nov 13 class. Sorry don't have any better info for you! Congrats again to all in the up coming classes! LOA

Here's the update with the latest round of calls for the 13 Nov class. Congrats again to all who got the call!! Thanks for the replies gummo, cjj, wmss, diamondZ and flyfedex. I deleted the Feb/Mar poolies off the running list. Z...let me know if you find out about the unconfirmed class date. I'll leave it on there for now. Hopefully, calls go out in the next week and a half to two for the suspected 4 Dec class. Good luck! Pool count stands at 61 confirmed and 10 unconfirmed.
