Congrats QRC...see, the waiting game can be painful, but once you get "the call" you forget about all of those pains! (Shrek, you're next)Welcome aboard...this is an awesome place!Training here is going good, got the airport tour today, and it's kinda funny when you think that my last a/c could fit inside the bus...almost inside the engine of the bus... We get to do some "mortal combat" next week...well, i guess it is more of a self defense course, but i like to think of it the other way :) My hardest thing right now is understanding the regs...SOOOOO much different than what i have been doing the last five years...I need to do a brain dump and forget everything from before, but it is so hard to forget what i have been doing for that long.Blueeagle...Freight dog to the bone baby...although, that is now changing...slowly, but it is changing.OK, and why are all my paragraphs coming together to form one big paragraph after i submit my responses?????????????????

Is it true that Frontier only hires off Airline Apps. Or am I wasting money?
\

As far as I know, yes. However it does not cost anything to apply to one airline. You only have to pay to apply to more than one.

Thanks for the info. I have paid for the subscription and have multiple airline apps. However I was not sure if they actually used it.

Thank you to all the Frontier folks and F9 hopefuls, 24 hours can change everything. If your waiting for the call keep the suit clean and shoes shined, you just never know. Counting down the days until class...

QRC,

You did all the hard work and had the patience, I would like to say on behalf of the Frontier Family, Welcome Aboard. We are looking forward to seeing you in class on Feb. 13.

Hopefuls,

Hang in there and be patient. We still have a lot of hiring to complete. Keep your information updated on Airlineapps.com. As QRC said, keep those shoes shined and the suit ready. I hope to talk with you all soon.

M3,

Way to go on the PC. Us "little guys" are proud of you.

I hope you know how fortunate we feel to have you on the team-you are a really a great guy and you know how to make us all feel so good. It is great to see you interact with everyone, makes me smile :D Yeah, just being here makes me smile!! Thanks for all of your hard work and dedication to us!!!! (WHO?)

WOW...the infamous FIRST post eh J. :D What a first week huh?! This is sooo awesome, I still cant get over the fact that i am really here! Hey, just to let you know, and i am sure Travis will go over this in class this week, but our DIA badges had an error in the coding, and we all need to go back and get them re-coded for certain doors. Four of us got the infamous call from the camera god as we tried to enter one of the doors to do the whole airside thing. Needless to say they invalidated our badges and we had to go get the re-coding done...as i said though, i am sure Travis will mention that this coming week. Other than that, have a great weekend, and we will see you next week.

I love you, Starchecker. I love you, QRC. I love you, F9Driver. I love you, M3Pilot. I love you, Shrek. I love you, Flyerg.....

I was sitting ready reserve yesterday, just reading my trusty interview prep book. I was amazed how many pilots were talking about F9 (I'm based in CVG). It's not as if I kept bringing it up. In fact, most of the time I wasn't even involved in the conversation. I was bored so I stopped by my Assistant Chief Pilots office, and chatted. Out of nowhere, he started talking about F9.

Perhaps this is a sign?

F9, what an awesome company! Talk about a GREAT reputation.

Still waiting for my shot.

Reading this thread is really inspiring. Even though I'm not in the game anymore (the "trying to get a job" game, that is...) it's fun watching people who have that same enthusiasm I had years ago.

We airline on F9 a lot. Last month, we were forced to use the other DEN airline. It sucked. Hope you guys get more flights so we don't have to resort to UAL again. (Plus, I need the FF miles for that CUN vacation next year!)

Good luck to all of you and have fun.TC

P.S.--A bunch of my former TWA friends are there on both sides of the cockpit door. Make them buy the beers!

N, Yeah, I must be getting brave in my old age, eh? I agree, still hard to believe we are here but sure does make me smile!! Tried to go get my bag in the crew room and ended up calling the that camera god myself. Thought uh oh, already failed door 101 :D . Anyways, got it worked out and observed my first flight. Awsome crew, it was great. See ya tomorrow, J
