Where are new hire FO's likely to be based? Is ATL or something commutable from ATL possible?
Is there any benefit or negative in applying without having all the minimum requirements at the time of application? I do realize the obvious of "minimum requirements" but see people applying that...
I've got a few missing pages from back in the 80's one of which contained my initial multi engine training and check ride. No real way to reconstruct it.
Is this kind of thing a deal breaker for the regionals?
Is anyone aware of any teaching positions available in Georgia?
I'm about 80 miles southwest of Atlanta.
I taught for a couple of years and am now out of flying almost two years and trying to get back in. 51 years old and good instructor with good references.
Problem is I need to be busy...
I've been looking around trying to find some ferry opportunities and just am wondering if anyone knows of any companies where you can be paid to do the work and don't have to comp your own travel etc? I'm out of passport right now so it would have to be a US ferry.
The site I was looking at has...

In the list of requirements I meet all of them but this one: "Graduation certification from a civilian and/or military formal academic instructor...
Anyone know of anything part or full time night in the Atlanta area?
I'm about 25 night hours short of 135 IFR mins and not getting much night at all where I'm teaching.
I keep hearing "there are jobs overseas if you're willing to go"......not to me directly just overheard on various boards.
Are there overseas jobs available for low time pilots?
I only have about 1140 hours, 105 Instrument, 67 night, 120 multi.
550 of that is in the last year.
Does that...
I'm looking for an instructor position that's salaried and a good place to work.
I have about 800TT and 400 dual given.
Currently I'm in the Atlanta area but my lease is up Oct 31 so I can move anywhere in the US.
I like where I'm working now but business is slow.
I realize there are other...
I'm teaching right now and need some additional income.
I'm looking for something part time that I can do with 700 TT.
Anyone know of any opportunities?
Power line/Pipeline/Ferry/traffic...whatever...
Thanks.
It's neat and short, not a Grizzly Adams type beard.
Obviously, I won't be needing an oxygen mask but a beard doesn't project the professional pilot image I'm guessing will be the answer.
Not that I'm a great looker but my looks substantially plummet without the beard.
I'd prefer if it isn't...
I need to get a BFR/IPC after not flying for 2 years.
I'm looking for someone who is a really good teacher and someone who might impart some tips on teaching to me as we go through the process.
I always seem to pick the wrong one. I'd really like someone who loves to teach and someone who you...
I was just curious as to what life is like working as a CFI at Riddle?
I got a postcard in the mail this weekend as I'm sure a million other CFI's did that suggested I wanted to work there.
Let the jokes fly but please somebody genuinely answer the question in the process. :)
I tried to get back into flying a couple of years ago after never really getting very far in the first place. I went back and earned a CFI but couldn't find a job without the CFII so I went and earned that. Then *blammo* it was divorce time. I had to get a job with a fixed income so I could pay...
with their super gay wav file that plays when you go to their web page.

I guess I'll use them for CFI renewal anyway. I suppose they figure if they renew you for life they must extract a pound of flesh in some way.
