I guess I'll use them for CFI renewal anyway. I suppose they figure if they renew you for life they must extract a pound of flesh in some way.

So have you purchased it yet? Mine renewal is due in a few months, and I am not sure if I will ever instruct again but don't wan to let it lapse. Do you have to sit through all the videos, or can you just skip to the questions and knock it out quickly?

You just need an internet autorefresher to go off every 5 mins so you get the study time in for the section. Then take the written test for that section (you can search all the study material for the answers).

It is the best deal out there in my opinion.
