Go Jet guys wearing ALPA lanyards

Believe me I wanted to confront the guy so badly, but I was sitting there waiting for a check airman and I didn't want to start a bunch of drama right before a training event. That's the only reason I didn't let him have it. I'm not in STL anymore so I came here to vent about it.

Go Jet guys wearing ALPA lanyards

There are a couple of Go Jet new hires running around STL Flight Safety wearing ALPA lanyards. WTF? I almost puked in my mouth when I saw this.

I hope they all get to come back. Every single one. Kharma's a -----.

So aviationinterviews.com now supports Go Jet?

I'd be willing to bet if you could catch a Go Jet pilot in an honest moment they would admit to being constantly harassed on the road.

So aviationinterviews.com now supports Go Jet?

It's a tacit endorsement and by posting it on the internet it's also helping them recruit. Wow yet another Go Jet apologist. There's so many of you on the internet but I have yet to meet one of you in person.

So aviationinterviews.com now supports Go Jet?

Scrolling through the site today I see a link for Go Jet gouge on the list. Are we legitimizing them now? Did somebody whine to the site owner or threaten to sue? Gimme a break. :uzi:

    Hey all you PFTers!

I wouldn't. Getting something you'd otherwise be unqualified for because money exchanged hands is a bribe. Maybe instead of an interview Fed Ex should charge a 100K entry fee? How many of you would take out a second mortgage to buy a job at Fed Ex? It would be absolutely no different than paying...

    Hey all you PFTers!

You guys do realize when you PFTed it was the equivalent of spending your first year working for free? IMO anyone who worked for free deserves to have their commercial license revoked. Be sure to bring up your PFT past often to people you fly with and tell everyone how much you deserve the...

    Hey all you PFTers!

Do you make sure to tell everyone you fly with how proud you are of it? I bet you like the vast majority of PFTers will lie and say "uh that was after I started there" or some other BS. Either way you have to live with yourself. I hope you sleep well knowing that some 20 year old wonder is...

    Hey all you PFTers!

How does it feel to know you paid 10-15K for a regional job and they can't even get enough 250 hour wonders to fill the seats nowadays. Paid hotel rooms in training, signing bonuses, even notorious PFT pioneer Gulfstream is having to hire and train legitimate FO's. That's got to hurt. How does...

    Corneal Refractive Therapy

Anyone heard of this? Does the FAA have a position on it? Looks like an intriguing alternative to surgery. http://www.flowersvision.com/procedures-crt.html http://www.paragoncrt.com/

Come work at ASA for 19,000 and no contract--please!!PFTer..

I can't believe some people now consider the regionals a step down from flight instructing. Maybe a little exaggeration but the perception is in the sewer right now. Even with a raise, increased time off, improved bennies, etc. they're still not even close to being competitive with the Net Jets...

Which regional will be the first to offer signing bonuses?

Ha ha. It's the very bottom feeders that will have to step up to attract fresh meat. Oh the irony.

Come work at ASA for 19,000 and no contract--please!!PFTer..

You're missing the point. They are dipping down lower and lower and the supply is starting to dry up. They can't get people in the door fast enough. Once they've cut the requirements down to the bone they're going to have to start offering incentives. The same market forces that created PFT will...

Come work at ASA for 19,000 and no contract--please!!PFTer..

I don't know if this kind of press will have much of an impact on student starts. The pereception of something being easy to get actually makes it even less desirable for some. During my post 9/11 flying experience I've met many CFI's who are choosing to pass up the regionals in favor of...
