Not anymore. It hasn't been all inclusive for close to a year. It's a junior overnight. You get in after dark and leave the hotel before the sun comes up. It's a sucky overnight
CAL just posted an updated seniority list. I'm 467 from the bottom with a hire date of 03/06/07.
And just to clarify, these are not furlough letters. They are notices that Continental intends to furlough in the future. Federal and NJ State law require that CAL send these letters before any...
I'm a March 3rd, 2007 hire. I looked at the June bid awards and subtracted my system seniority # from the most junior EWR FO's system seniority. It shows me 473 from the bottom. I guess there are still some pilots who are finishing up training and have not bid in PBS yet. But I'm sure that...
Just went through recurrent this weekend. I was told by two instructors that hiring will slow but not stop. They plan to rotate between 12 and 8 newhires every tuesday. 12 one week, 8 the next week and so on. This is a loss of 24 newhires per month.

If you flew...
It will be less than that unless you started the first week of January. I started in March so mine will be figured only on about 10 months of first year pay.

I did not do a personal interview prep. The interview was very relaxed and straight forward. The main thing is to have about 6 or 7 stories from your flying past to talk about.
However, I did the sim prep and would highly recomend it. They are doing the sims in the 737 now. It is a very good...
