I know this isn't the career-wise-minded thing to do, but if he pushed me down onto the floor like that in the pilots lounge, I'd stand up and knock his a$$ out, and tell him where he could stick that job. I don't care who you are, what your job title is, or how much money you got in the bank...
I always make it a practice, when over flying or underflying a controlled airspace like Class B or Class C (and above D), to atleast check in with the controllers and let them know my altitude, and that I'll be flying overhead and monitoring their frequency.
Especially if I'm flying real close...
I once had someone make the comment, upon me telling them I was a Flight Instructor: "Ohhh, so you must really be making the big money!" Uhh, yeaaa...
I read the first couple of posts to my wife and she was laughing hard. She says when she tells people that I'm a pilot, she gets asked some of...
I'm a co-pilot on a CJ1, and CJ2 in the midwest.
Contract, I get $300 a day, plus all expenses paid. Never had anyone turn me away with that price, and I do a fair amount of contract work a year. Just make sure you don't take any less then $200 a day as a co-pilot.
Salary, you can expect...

Yucko the Clown rocks! His video on Reagan passing away was also great.
Girls (Fat & Ugly): "What's your name?"
Yucko: "My names I hate fat, ugly chicks."

And that's absolutely fine in itself, just don't wh0re yourself out to the media and cram it down our throats everytime. You can fulfill all kinds of personal achievement without the media every knowing or being involved.

I'd recommend David Clark's over just about anything (with exception of a Bose set - but thats too much money to use just for training.)
I paid $300 for a David Clark 10-30 about 5 years ago, and I still wear it faithfully to this day when flying piston singles or twins. I highly recommend you...
