Helicopter Pilot: 52K, no overtime, home every night
Some of those paychecks you guys are getting look real nice to me!
I heard this on the ATIS at KIND the other day. I can not tell a lie, I wasnt sure what it meant exactly.
They were landing 23 Left and 23 Right.
They also have a 14/32 runway.
Any idea what this means?
And yes, I should already know this!
You only have additional duties if your full time.
BS ALERT! The only difference is in the Reserves you wont get paid for the time you spend doing your extra duties!
...at the gate to discuss "your" problem with him. I am assuming you are a man not some 10yr old girl who believes in being passive aggressive after the fact.
Why anyone would come on here to try and solve an issue that has happened in the past is beyond me, grow up.
Cheers,

the army used to fly the president back in the 50's...not sure what happened to change it, maybe the president starting believing those corny marine commercials.
JUST MY OPINION!
I wanted to work at Airnet forever when I first went there in 2001. After I heard about Check21 I looked at the large percentage of checks I was carrying and realized that the cargo side of the house was going to lose a lot of overall business. The only growth I could see for...
I just hired some guys to help me move, 40 bucks an hour. I charge 25 bucks an hour for flight instruction-cash only. I am going to raise it to 30 bucks an hour starting this minute

why would you want to come here, work for peanuts, get a job at a regional and work for even less money the first few years, then after enduring numerous moves and personal and monetary hardships thoughout your 40's you get to make 45K as a regional captain and have to retire 8 years after...
You have to fly the caravan like it isnt certified for icing. At the first sign off ice start getting out of the icing conditions. As a general rule I always climb...you can always come back down and the increased speed in the descent will blow off more ice. If you jerk your chicken while...

IMO, if you are on an IFR flt plan, flying GPS Direct, Victor Airways, or etc. and this is how you are navigating, then it is Instrument time.
