As a SWA pilot, if it has Southwest on the tail I want our own flying it regardless if it is a Turboprop or RJ Jet. We can work out the pay later.

Codeshare, bad and the language needs to be changed to include remedies and stiff penalties. Until I see language that has Teeth in Section 1 I will again vote no!
That's a big fat funny one for me.
1. its law.
2. if we purchase another airline, and take the employees, the courts will revert to it regardless.
3. no reason to have it in any airline pilot labor contract.
Let me explain something to you guys about our current CBA and the TA. If the company wants to enter into, purchase, or purchase an airline with RJ's right now and or in the future we have nothing that protects us, not now nor in the future with our current CBA and or the TA should it be voted...

We have many F/O's who were looking at upgrade early this year who now are waiting it out now and...
This SWA pilot was against this. It will cost me millions in delayed upgrade.
Actually this is more real than you think. Gary is a bean counter and is VERY cautious... proceeds with extreme care and if he is the least bit scared he doesn't do it. I hope he proves me wrong.

He is a lance Captain but still an F/O... he is considered by the company as an F/O, bids F/O lines and has to either pick-up Captain trips in between his F/O trips or give all F/O trips away and grab Captain trips out of trip-trade-giveaway or bid for them in open time. He is an F/O period...
