Hahahahaha, why don't you complain about the low credit per day too, because you are only doing a bunch of MKE-MSN, MKE-GRR, MKE-GRB. I'd take those 8 legs per day, 4 credit hour Skyway days back in a heartbeat.
There are still classes in the pipe that started in the past month that weren't on the vacancy bid. The Oct. 17th class was postponed a couple weeks as well, I think that is the last planned class for now. Also, pretty much every class has been slowed down up at/going to CAE due to their...
Correct...The DAL 175's come on line this fall/next spring. 10 of the 170's being replaced move to UAL on the S5 certificate, the remaining 6 were destined for F9, but now with 2 staying at DAL next spring/summer, that makes 4 surplus 170s that will be unallocated.
Or Chapter 11, or Midwest could negotiate with Skywest to break the deal (a la RAH-F9) before declaring ch. 11. Timmy already said in his letter to MidEx ALPA that they would be renegotiating with all their suppliers (SKYW, etc)
10 DAL 170s are going to be shifted to UAL as the new 175s are placed in service in late 2008/early 2009. 2 of the F9 170s are currently in service with S5 as replacements for 170s undergoing heavy checks.
Not the best day to be asking this question, but...they told the cancelled new hire classes today that they are "tentatively" looking at classes in july/august. In the 3Q, the DAL 175 deliveries will start up, with a 170 being transferred to the UAL flying. This might be good news for you...
Not totally correct. The 4/21 RW and S5 new hire classes were cancelled. They were given a couple weeks per diem, travel home and "preferential hiring" in the future. The 2/28 and 3/25 classes are running as scheduled, except for the 3/25 RW class which is starting indoc for S5 (sucks that...
I never had a problem switching from NOS to Jepp...the kind of things they will have you do in the sim should be perfectly accessible for a non-Jepp user.
Lol...spirit and midwest. nothing against either company but they are polar opposites. i suppose that would be the only way timmy could get his hands on some new planes though.
I haven't heard of many people having a problem finding something...tons of FOs are going to RAH/Compass/Mesaba (Skywest as well was quick to offer interviews, but they have that whole pool thing going on now). Captains are going to AirTran, Spirit and I've heard of several with NWA and UAL.
Everyone is giving 2 weeks notice still to get their vacation paid out...other than that I think everyone is using up their sick time and not really caring too much about the operation (besides safety-wise and getting to the overnights on time!)
