JB v/s SWA
Go to SWA and then bail as soon as you can to a cargo carrier like FedEx or UPS. They will not have to deal with economic pressures, furloughs, cutbacks or any other things that JBLU is dealing with, and SWA will have to deal with in the future. Pax carriers, the once favored route is way... -

you may be right about JB setting the bar with rates...however, JB pilots are flying the planes aren't they? they have to option of making 140-150K in an airbus eventually....right....pay IS way LOW on the emb, but I think one has to prioritize....fight over pay.... management sends planes to... -

oops...i forgot about SWA. although a low cost carrier from a management perspective, i think they were formidable as any legacy pre 911. however, i wouldn't imagine a TON of people turning down UAL, DAL, AMR for SWA with offers at all 4, when all of them were all making money AND enjoying... -

There are tons of furloughed legacy guys/gals flying at LCC's. I would have to say that most if not ALL of them would have preferred to stay at the Legacy jobs before the contract scalpings! However, now that upgrade times and career expectations have been shattered due to management... -

oh yeahhhhhhhh....i remember there was that one flight that left OAK to BOS back a few years back...it was a redeye and a LONG flight...no winds! apparently, both pilots fell asleep and overflew BOS by a few hours...woke up and saw lots of water...no problem...they diverted and landed safely in... -
