that's funny Dicko, same thing happens on our side. Just the other day one of our flight attendants demanded to leave the airplane for the terminal. Said he needed to take a valuejet and wipe his airtran. Thank goodness it is all in fun and just a joke.

It's sad that we can't post pics here. It's even sadder that I can't figure it out. :D

So Chad is running as a write in against an unopposed and Sulliivan is running against 2 SWAPA guys one who is a rep and another who was a rep. Seems like they are making the hard press for FAT guys to get into SWAPA.

Sorry........ don't expect much from swapa and expected even less from alpa. Not suprised that fat pilots would want some representation if amongst the rsw pilots. If you don't believe me ask the dal fo representative with his RSW rubber bracelet or the hou fo representative that has stated in print that the lance program would only benefit the senior fat pilots so why support it anyway............

Yet we've got some dummies on this side of the partition who want SWAPA representation for AirTran pilots (while still on our side of the partition). Sheesh.

Until all DRC claims are heard, and all remedies accepted by management (and if not accepted, arbitrated at the second-stage arbitration), then you'd have to be a complete moron to want to get rid of our own representation.

The only people on this thread who seem to have a clue is TY and PCL. There is so much misinformation being thrown around here.

Well, you really can't go wrong when you vote in one of the the Reps who got us to where we are today. I mean, my god, just look at that track record !

Regarding SWAPA representing us, I'm beginning to rethink how bad it could be - Could it be any worse that our current ALPA MEC Chair ? He just hung the bottom half of the AirTran TBA 717 Captain list out to dry in front of the Arbitrator. So much Fail, and so little time to fit it all in.

I guess you're above that 250 cutoff Ty ? I'm re-oiling my pitchfork. The lantern is coming out of storage.

:D

No, I'm definitely not above the 250.

That's a topic for a whole 'nuther thread. :puke:

Ahhh... I see. I'd underestimated your juniority. Apologies.

I wouldn't mind so much if there was any logic to it. Logic I can get behind. Even if it puts me at a disadvantage. Unfortunately, the lack of logic, apart from screwing half of us again, will screw us all.

ALPA. Consistent to the bitter end.

slightly confused, what is ALPA asking for that hurts the junior, which would be nothing new, just wondering what it is specifically?

Actually the number was 263.

Supposedly the requested settlement was designed to meet the expectations and promises made to the AT pilots when they passed the AIP2. 15 overnighting 717's was all that was promised, that equates to 263 Capts.

I'm not saying I totally agree with it...
